My name is Melissa but everyone calls me Mely. I'm 20, and I am majoring in music education at USF in Tampa. I've been marching Drum and Bugle corps since my freshman year of high school. I marched Americanos in 2000 and The Boston Crusaders 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 and probably until I "age out" in 2006. I went to Spanish River High school, and was band captain my senior year. I miss all my friends from back home. The "circle of life" and who can forget our CLU. "The gang" will live on in my heart. I Play a couple of instruments. My main one is Euphonium. I can also play guitar and piano. In 04 I taught the marching band at Leto high school in tampa. Next year in 05 I'll be teaching at Lakewood ranch high school. Well, I'm the type of person that looks at life in a really positive way. I always have a smile on my face. I try to make the best out of every situation. I'm a strong believer of "everything happens for a reason." I love teaching. AND I love music. I always put other people before me. I love working hard at something. Accomplishing my goals is the best feeling! I don't like
