My Sister, The Angel
This is my small tribute to my sister, Shannon, AKA duckie,shann, green duckie, and Angel. Oer the past years she has become one of my best friends in the world, and an even better sister. She's always there to listen to me complain about life, and she gives great advice! she's a great person to tell secrets to cuz she wouldn't DREAM of telling anyone. Shann is the most trustworthy person i know. Even though we have never met in real life, i feel like i have known her forever. Someday i believe we will meet (we have to! we made plans to live together when we are older! *S*)...anywayz, like i said,she is the best person in the worl, and i love her (not that way guys, come on! jeez!). Here is a poem she wrote and sent to me (shann, if ya want this taken down,just lemme know...no problemo!)
Sister Of Mine
Sister of mine
Did you know
That you live
In my mind
Funny how we
Don't like
Each other's
Lives
But find
That we're alike
And of
The same kind
We talk together
And the time
Slips on by
Unnoticeably
Cause we're too busy
Saying what's on
Our minds
Talking about
The feelings
That we find
And those we try
And hide
Those we try
And deny
We have
Such sad eyes
And we give
Such sad smiles
The main parts
Of our
Sad lives
Our days
So long
And our nights
So short
Feeling as if
We don't belong
In a world
That's so cold
Our pain seems
To be
Fuel for the nightmares
That we seem
To keep
Feeding
But in the end
I do believe
That me and you
Will prevail
For it seems as if
We've already
Been through
The fires
Of Hell
