Irish rock superstar, Liam falls under the surveillance of the CIA after he mails off a hundred letters to some of the richest and poorest people in the world. He has invited them to embark on an all-expenses-paid trip to Toronto where they will be guests at a secret banquet. A top Canadian surveillance expert, Brad is dispatched to discover why Liam’s meeting is surrounded by so much secrecy. He monitors the movements of some guests as they traverse the globe. These include an AIDS orphan from the Philippines; a Tanzanian young man; a famous Italian opera singer; a Texas oil tycoon; an aging Hollywood actress, and a billionaire American computer software genius. When Brad learns that this eclectic group could possibly eliminate extreme poverty from the world, but only if it is kept a secret, he has to decide where his true values lie. He presently resides on Vancouver Island, B.C., in Canada, working at the 19 Wing Comox, 442 Search & Rescue Squadron. He is married, has two teenage sons, and owns two cats.
