ATTENTION....

Take a look at some of the finest bloodlines ever assembled all on one page! If you are looking for a cow bred working border collie, look no further. Some of the greatest cow dogs are on these dogs pedigrees.

ODIE

'Odie' has an own daughter that was the high selling dog at the Red Bluff Bull Sale. She not only was the high selling dog at the 2004 sale, but the highest ever! She was bought for $10,400! An outstanding sire.

1. This is a Red and White very stong sire. He will not back down from a challenge. (The front photo is of 'Odie' also-photo credit goes to Weese) Boe had bred and raised 'Odie' until a few years ago. We still use his stud services on a regular basis, because we feel that there isn't a better proven producer. 'Odie' is standing and owned by Mike Ridenhour, who can be reached at 573-859-3381. Even though he is a long haired dog, he does produce slick hairs. If you are looking for a good cross on your females that will throw r/w, slick haired, and tough dogs- this is one good dog to consider. He is getting old, but Mike is still breeding females to him.

2. This red and white slick haired male is out of our good old female 'Brite' and by 'Willy'. Due to an accident when working pairs, we no long work this dog outside. He is able to help us, when we need him, around the corrals. He will still bite a nose, front foot and a heel when he needs to. He is a very stout dog, even for beig crippled. We generally use him to get any puppies hooked onto working stock. He's the dog that you can lay down and not worry about him getting up when you work a pup/young dog over the top of him. He is one of the best stud dogs that we have had. He is producing very well. As you can see above, he also makes a pretty good babysitter!

4. 'Alf' is an exceptional young dog. He is out of 'Echo' and by Rindal's 'Cap'. He bites really clean on the head, heels below the dew claws. He's been a real joy to train. He's really biteable. As you can see by the photo on the right, his is not afraid of getting in there to get himself a good shot at the nose.We have bred a few females to him, hoping to extend this line and 'Alfs' work ethics.

6. This is 'Liz'. She is a b/w slick haired prick eared female that will work as tough as any male dog. She has no fear and will take on any challenge. For this reason, we do not work her on cow and calves. She is to nice of a dog to see how crippled she can make herself by fighting mother cows. Now that we have these younger dogs to work, we don't feel so bad in letting her stay at home. We will be breeding her when she comes in to heat. We would like to produce her size and work ethics, especially in females. Very rarely does a person find this tough of a female as well as being this large.

7. 'Dally' is a slick haired, pricked eared, red and white tri female that is really a very hard bitter and very quick! She is by 'Willie' and out of a 'Mut' and 'Sue' daughter. This female is very strong and we hope that she will produce the same strength. We have kept a couple of pups out of her last litter, they seem to be really neat pups. I am really impressed the way they acted when they were first exposed to the goats.

8. 'Tazz' is has an LR Alexander bred dam and by 'Skip'. If there ever is a prize for the UGLIEST dog, she would win-hands down! This is where the saying that looks are only skin deep. Because if a person sees her work, you forget about her looks. She bites both ends and never quits. We have bred her a couple of times and she has raised some nice puppies. She is bred to Alf for some 2005 spring puppies.

'Echo'

9. This slick haired, red & white female is out of our proven female named 'Brite' and by E. Wanmans 'Willy'. She is a half sister to Odie and also a full sister to 'Copper', 'Molly' and 'Skip'. She has produced several outstanding young dogs, including 'Alf', 'Brooke', 'Patch', 'Donny', 'Myles', and 'Ricci'.
