Well here is a little about me....
My name is Ryan and I am from the GREAT state of Colorado. I'm a 18 year old GRAD!!!! (CLASS OF 99 RULEZ!!!!) and i'm now going to SOUTHERN NAZARENE UNIVERSITY!!! simply because Crimson Storm ROCKS :o) If you wanna know why this school is SO awesome just come out and visit and I will DEFINITLY show you around!! I enjoy soccer (the REAL football), skiing (that's right you monolyths! *g* j/k I ride w/ my homies who board so I've got nothing against them...I just can't betray my students, oh that's right...forgot...I was also an instructor at Wolf Creek Ski Area), track (hurdles), flirting (keeping it clean of course!!! ;) quizzing (valley all the way to RAD!!!) and Youth Group (I sing for praize and worship). The carpet in my room is NOW (updated) so dirty i can't tell the color, I had a fish but it died so now i have a plant, I love Italian food (hmmmm....olive garden) and the most romanticly interesting dates I can think of *s*
I don't have to many pet peeves...I usually just let stuff roll off my back...but it does drive me NUTS when guys treat ladies like pieces of meat...I know that sounds really weird (uh oh...here I go again) but I beleive God created women to be treated with respect and honor. Like God said it, "...but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." I mean, honestly, how many guys know that you are supposed to hold the door, open the car door, or pull a chair out for the girl??? pretty pathetic! Which is why my bro David in Pagosa (CEF ROCKS LIFE BROTHA!!) have dedicated ourselves to making sure no lady has to open the door for herself when we're around *bg* cheezy huh? oh well....I think it's true :)
OK...now about my walk with God...I am a Christian and have been one since I was 5. I love the Lord with all my heart and do my best to follow him but I don't kid myself either. I am a sinner...and if you know me you can testify to that one! but I am a sinner saved by grace as well. God has called me to be a pastor!!! I can't wait because there is no doubt in my mind that that is what he wants...but I don't know if it is youth, senior, prof, or maybe even missionary pastor...but that will come with time. EVEN at NYC!!! Those three girls from Texas knew who he was *LOL* Oh yeah...Thanks to the BrothaHood, even though GBTK rocks life, they keep me strong and serve God!
