Butchie - Our First Champion
"Butchie" is pictured at 10 1/2 months of age winning BOW and BP at a dog show in Ontario, Canada (March, 1998)for his first Championship points. Handled by my daughter Aimee, after limited showings, Butchie finished in early July/98.
It is with great sadness that I announce that Butchie passed away on May 18, 2000 - he was the best little friend and cherished family member. In his short time with us, of the puppies that he had sired, some have gone to pet homes and have brought much joy to their new moms and dads - others have remained with me and this past year I have obtained a Canadian Championship title on two of them - Ch. Mercer's Mighty Fancy Benjamin (Bennie) and Ch. Mercer's Fancy Lady Sadie. Thank you Butchie for having brought so much joy to our lives - your presence will be greatly missed by us all.
Skylar - Grandson of Butchie
"Skylar" is pictured at 1 1/2 years of age having taken a Group 4th placement.
It is with great sadness that I announce that Skylar passed away on November 26, 2004 - he was the most lovely, little tri-coloured pap, very friendly, outgoing - like his grandfather - taken from us much too young - still can't believe he is gone.
