Clarissa walked back inside into the kitchen where she saw Ike writing something down on a piece of paper. He looked at her but said nothing. He was really busy try-n to get every thing ready for they new album and next concert they had to do; with every thing else that was going on he couldn't seem to get his figures strait. He couldn't believe that Clarissa would do something like this to him. He could see something like this coming from Brandi but not Clarissa.
" Your Mom called this morning while you were out…she said call her." Clarissa said walking up to Ike. But he didn't even act as if she was there.
" Ike you cant keep ignore-n me like this…Im part of this family too. Im sorry I wish I could go back and not had done what I did…Im ashamed of what I did…I just want things back the way they used to be…" She paused waiting for him to respond, but he didn't …"You once told me that every one deserved a second chance, but you meant every one like you. I am so sorry Ike, I never meant for things to be like this. I love you and that's all that matters…you told me that, but Im beginning to think it was all a lie!" Clarissa said running out of the kitchen. Ike paused from what he was write-n to see a tear fall from his eye and float down to the table.
"…God I love you Clarissa…." Ike whispered to himself.
Hey little bro…" Tay said as he walked into Zacs room.
"Hey…wuz up?" Zac asked looking up from his computer screen.
"Oh not much…just wonder-n how your date went with Jasa?"
" Oh …well it was good. We went and saw Scream 3."Zac replied.
' Was the movie any good?" Tay asked.
" Yeah it was…you should go see it."
" Oh well I might…look that's not what I really wanted to talk to you about."
" Then what?" Zac asked.
" Whats your opinion of a hair cut?"
" What? You mean like all off.?" Zac asked.
" Well no…but like lots more shorter.
" Well I dunno…whats Brandi gonna think?"
" Man I dunno…you know how she is about my hair…but I mean it'll grow back."
" Yeah its just hair…go get it done if that's what you want." Zac said.
" Oh I am…Im gonna go today…that's where Im headed now." Tay said getting up going to the door.
"Well hey when you get back I wanna see!" Zac called to him as he watched Tay walk out of his room.
" K!!" Tay yelled back as he ran out the door and into his car.
" Oh god Clarissa…Im so sorry…" Brandi said as she held her older sister in her arms to confort her.
"I just want things like they use to be…I love him so much!!"
Shhh….Its all gonna be alright…Im here for you." Brandi said as she brushed a strand of Clarissa's blonde hair from her face…" Ill make sure of it…" Soon Clarissa had fallen into a restless sleep and Brandi left her on her bed and walked downstairs close-n the door behind her. She walked out her door and across the street…she was going to talk to Zac. She did that whenever she had something on her mind. After all they were best friends…they had to be after all the shared.
" Hey Babe.." Brandi said as she walked into Zacs room. She put her arms around him and placed a kiss on his cheek.
" Hey!" Zac said with a smile. Deep down inside they still hand feelings for each other, but they both knew not to talk about them.
" Man I dunno what to do about Clarissa?" Brandi said sitting down on Zacs bed.
"Yeah it's a big mess…Ikes really upset about it." Zac said turning his computer chair around so that he could face Brandi.
" Yeah I know…I just wish there was something I could do. I feel like its my fault."
" What! Why?!" Zac asked.
" Because…before she left I told her if there were any cute guys not to hesitate." Brandi said.
"Yeah but you couldn't have known she'd do it for real." Zac replied.
" Yeah I know…its just…I dunno. It seems like it should have been me that did something like that not her you know. I mean her and Ike were like the perfect couple. You'd a never thought it. I guess Im just still in shock."
" Well people make mistakes…Ike and her will just have to find away to work around it." Zac said.
" I know but I guess what makes it even worse is that Ike was her first, she had never experienced another man and she just…I dunno I just thought that he was all she needed."
" I think were all alittle shocked by it…what I cant understand is my mom is like standing all behind Clarissa you know…like she is ok with what she did." Zac said.
" Oh I know…its all just really weird."
" Yeah…I know."
" Well thanks for talk-n to me.."
" Anytime…" Zac said getting up from his chair to walk her downstairs.
" Well I guess Ill talk to you later tonight." Brandi said as they reached the door.
"Bye." Zac said leaning down making it easier for Brandi to hug him.
" I love you Zac." Brandi whispered in his ear.
"Ditto…" Zac replied as he watched her walk across the yard…
