LYNETTE’S MUSINGS
+ + + + + + + + + + + + +
Hello again friends! Today my parents will be arriving to help me over the next
few months with the baby. No, she’s not here yet but soon! We are having a
whole lot of fun with our baby name poll. It’s interesting to find out what
people prefer and what they have to say. Have you voted yet? What are you
waiting for? Visit our website at www.angelfire.com/ok2/kenandlynette
to do so! We’d love to hear from you.
Meanwhile, we recently submitted our story to ICQ’s wedding album section.
This is their new section for couples that met on ICQ and married. View it here
http://www.icq.com/channels/life-and-love/events/wedding/gallery-5.html.
You can also submit your own story! Till the next issue, take care and God
Bless.

I MISS YOU SO!
+ + + + + + + + +
We’ve been there once and does it hurt! Misunderstandings happen easily, you
feel you can’t comfort the other when he/she is down and most of all, those
long and lonely nights when all you want is to be held in each other’s arms.
These feeling are most normal, and especially irritating when you are waiting
for your visa.
Long distance relationships are not for everyone. Many
people simply can’t hack it. We are often asked how we coped especially when
you see a couple strolling in the park, during holidays and family gatherings
and worst of all Valentines? Unfortunately, technology has yet to allow us to
feel, touch or smell over the Internet. So, we have to be innovative. Here are
some ideas without too much cost:

·
Make a video of yourself. It could be of what you are doing when
you and your sweetheart are not online together. If you have children together,
why not a video of you and the children reading self written poems to daddy or
mommy. It could be a love letter…. Anything that would give a glimpse into
your life when they are not there to experience it.
·
Make an audiocassette or voice file to send via e-mail. Maybe
sing your song(s) and serenade each other!
·
Send home made puzzles with a romantic message.
·
Exchange the pillows you sleep on every few months.
·
Give each other a special something you’ve had all your life.
It could be a soft toy, a pendant, your hair clip, your perfume or your er…
lingerie if you’re into it :)
·
Send him a monthly journal. Better still if you both can keep a
journal where you enter your deepest feelings and then exchange them.
·
Build a website together! Share the password and have each other
write your own pages. This is something very rewarding especially after you get
together. We still go back to our site to read our stories.
·
Arrange with each other to rent or buy the same video, set a time
and date when you can both get online and watch the movie at the same time.
This would feel as if you are on a movie date and you can discuss the movie
without disturbing others! :)
·
Create a time capsule. You each gather up things that remind you
of each other or mean something to you, keep it in a box and don’t open it
until you can next meet and exchange the capsules. When you get home and lonely
pangs hit, you not only have things your partner collected for you but you can
relive the moments when you both went over the contents.
·
Play an online game together.
Notice most suggestions are to send something by mail and
not so much via the Internet. The Internet is great for quick and immediate
communications but when your arms feel empty and your heart is dying of
loneliness, you need something you can hold, feel and smell to keep the ties.
This is not easily done online.
For more ideas and resources online, www.theromantic.com
has a great collection of creative ideas submitted by readers while www.adoringyou.com
has a wonderful selection of coupons you can give each other; also some fun
love tests that you can both enjoy doing together online. It also has beautiful
midis you can listen to and share.
Keep your faith up because when you finally are able to be
together, you’ll definitely appreciate and enjoy each other’s touch and
presence.
