MY WRITING

What love could build, I'll never know,
Torn fabric is the love we sow
Lost in grips of angered fists
Our hearts encased in silent woe

Days are filled with a heavy mist
Happiness is not on the list
Painful memories still remain
The bitter sweet token of being kissed

Two souls grounded but not sane
Hurt by words meant to blame
Love and hate duel away
Anger easily wins this game

The line is fine 'tween night and day
Some wish to keep love at bay
Yet to have loved and lost still is best
Dispite the consequences we must pay

In Love's Splendor

In Love's Slendor happiness grows
Where first lover's true spirit knows
Trust is something that does not hide
Honesty and respect coincide
People gather near, beauty shows
Hearts and minds forget all past woes
Broken souls mend with what love sews
Such passion cannot be denied

In Love's Splendor

Children thrive as affection flows
Confidence in them brightly glows
When arms of love are streatched out wide
Meant to wash over like a tide
Great things come where passion goes

In Love's Splendor
