can you say circus?

im back. everyone do the dance of joy now.

didnt kill anything either. and im sure that makes a least a couple of people happy.

anyway.

i had another one of *those* dreams again last night. i'll spare you the details. well, most of you anyway.

i got tired of just sitting around the house on saturday night. so, i got up and decided to go to the circus.

i havent been since before i was too young to remember, and i have wanted to go for the last few years and never got around to it.

i couldnt find anyone to go with me on short notice, so i went by myself. which, actually turned out to be a good thing in several ways.

number one, i didnt have to talk to anyone, so i had a chance to do some people watching. of course, being the circus, there were all kinds of kids there.

and with the all kinds of kids, come all kinds of parents. there were some rather old parents and some extremely young parents. there were some well to do parents and some redneck parents as well. there were some parents who thought that their kids were the greatest thing in the world and some parents who had wished that they had never had kids as well. there were some parents that at one time were the high school football quarter back and head cheerleader as well as some parents who had never played sports before in their lives. some of the greatest parents in the world live in birmingham. so do some of the worst.

anyway, seeing all those kids brought out the fatherly instincts in me again. i think it would be a lot of fun to be a dad right now. but i also now that i am not mature enough to handle that. a paradox of sorts.

another good thing about going alone was that i only had to get one ticket. so i got to sit on the second row. right in front of where the big elephant decided to relieve himself and in close enough to where the clown that was spraying water into the crowd got me soaked. other than that, it was a really good seat. i was close enough to get a good view of the dancing girls with their all too revealing tops on and i also had a good view of the blond trapeze artist whose wedgie was so far up her butt, it looked like she was wearing a g-string.

it was a good night. i was really impressed with some of the circus performers, especially the tight rope walkers. those guys are nuts.

anyway.

i lead a fairly sad life. i know this. and im dealing with it.

the highlight of my week is at some point during the day realizing that its monday or thursday and that wrestling comes on that night. sad isnt it?

anyway, my 21st birthday is tomorrow. some people never thought that i would make it this far. heck, i never thought that i would make it this far. but, im still here....kicking like a pack of ninjas.

i wonder. i wonder what my mother will be doing on my 21st birthday. i wonder if she even remembers that its my birthday. or that i even exist. i doubt it.
