Turtle Creek is located East of Pittsburgh, Pa. From downtown take the Parkway East to the Churchill Exit. Turn right off the ramp. At street light turn left and go east on Rt. 130. Continue on Route 130 until you come the the Tri-boro Highway. You will go past several homes and businesses at one point you will go past a small shopping plaza with Foodland, PNC Bank on the left and a BP gas station on the left. Go thru that intersection. At a T you will turn left on to Tri-boro. Turn left continuing east on Route 130 until the second light with Penn Plaza on the right, McMaster's Church on the left and Alpha Lutheran diagonally across the street you are in heart of Turtle Creek, Pa. At the next intersection in the Borough Building where you may get any directions and information about the town. Turtle Creek is just 15 or so miles from downtown Pittsburgh, Pa. We are part of the Mon-Valley and the Steel Valley of Western Pennsylvania. You may call the borough building at 412-824-2500 for information.
Even though we spell our name creek, it is pronounced "crick". It is not pronounced creak or creeek. We are the "CREEKERS"(Crickers), home of the original Vogues, Leon Hart; football great, Captain Michael J. Estocin Medal of Honor recipient Vietnam 1967 and Lt. Col. William W. McMillan Olympic Gold Medal winner in Rome 1960!
