I carried you for nine long months,
Felt your life as you wiggled inside.
I've heard your heart beating one by one,
Wondering proudly whos looks you'll have.
Anxiously waiting to hold you with love.
For no known reason God took you away.
NO longer did i feel your movements,
Nor did i hear your heart beat of life.
I labored the pain and cried the tears,
Knowing now I won't hear yours.
As I pushed you out of my womb,
We only heard the cries of grief.
I held you son in my arms,
And I looked upon your soft little face.
For now you are God's little Angel,
Only now to remember your birth,
As snowflakes fell upon the hill,
You're resting in the comfort of the Lord.
