Guernsey Arms Issue on FDC
Both Jersey and Guernsey had to issue their own postage stamps, as the British stock of stamps was quickly depleted. A number of designs were put forward, by local printer, and the two Arms stamps for Jersey and three Arms stamps for Guernsey were issued. A follow up set of six Pictorial Views for Jersey was issued in 1943, whereas Guernsey made various reprints of their first issue.
