Fraternities have played a major role in the lives of college students for hundreds of years. Only 2% of men in America have been or are in fraternities, but of that 2% almost all Presidents of Fortune 500 companies today are fraternity men, only four Presidents since 1895 have not been fraternity men, congressmen, sports figures, movie and TV stars, astronauts, military leaders; the list goes on and on. Fraternity life offers the average college man the opportunity to broaden his horizons personally, socially, and professionally.
Why Sigma Nu?
Sigma Nu Fraternity is one of long and proud tradition. Our founding fathers wanted instilled in every Sigma Nu the characteristic of Honor, and that is what we do. Here at Kappa Chapter we are not concerned with size. We want men who we know will live by the principles of Sigma Nu; Love, Honor, and Truth. Brotherhood is the top priority! During rush be yourself, do not be afraid to talk to people, and be honest about what your looking for in a fraternity. Remember that the decision you make is a lifetime decision, so think through it carefully.
