I will try to update it as often as I can. My name is Gary Dowler, I have been aa police officer since 1991. I am currently employed at the Jenks Public Schools campus police department. At the campus p.d. we do all the same things that a municipal p.d. does. Our school system has as many employees and students, and covers as many square miles as a small city. We have 3 full time and about 12 part-time certified police officers. I would appreciate hearing your comments and suggestions, just click on my email address and let me know that you visited. Being a campus police officer is different from being a municipal officer. At the campus we have more control over juveniles and more of a chance to make a difference in their lives. We handle the same situations, and do the same things that a municipal police department does except that we also can enforce school rules. this is a great job to have.
