I belong to a family of 3 Sisters and 3 Brothers. My father is a Retired Police Inspector, served more than 30 years in the Police Department. My mother is a House-wife. My two elder sisters finished their Post graduation in Physics and Structural Engineering respectively. Both got married and settled in their life. My younger sister just finished her Diploma in Computer Science Engineering. My elder Brother is a Central Government employee working in Defence Organisation. One of my younger Brother is self-employed and last Brother is undergoing training at Ordnance Factory. Except myself, Everybody is in my Home town.

I started my primary education at Municipal school in Srirangam. I studied upto 5th Standard in this School. My high school education started at Srirangam Boy's Higher Secondary school. I did only 6th standard here. Then I joined the well-known and very popular E.R. Higher Secondary School which is located near cauvery river bed. Most of my school life I spent here only. During my school days, I actively participated in N.C.C & N.S.S Organisation. I attended lot of Camps, both in N.C.C and N.S.S. My most memorable camp is one at Tirupparaithurai in Trichy. I attended this camp when I was at 14. This camp gave me a lot of experience and opportunity to meet different kinds of friends. I hold a rank of Lance Corporal in N.C.C. My days in this organisation earned me a good quality of Punctuality. Even today, I try to keep up time once committed. My another memorable days were when I attended N.S.S camp at Mayiladuthurai near Lalgudi taluk, Trichy. Again, this was a 10 days camp and I attended this at the age of 17. These two camps were very pleasant and ever green memories which I always used to reminiscent. Really I was lucky to have very good friends and staffs during my school days. My hobbies during school life were attending social and literature lectures, debates and I loved to listen the speeches of late Krupananda wariyar, pulavar Keeran, etc.

After my pre-university education, I joined St. Joseph's College at Trichy since I didn't have hope of getting professional college admission. I took B.Sc Mathametics as major. But after 3 months, one fine morning, I received admission card for Engineering Degree which I never dreamed off. Then started my new life. I joined Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli. This was my situation that made me to leave my family and native town. I went to Tirunelveli with my sister and joined the college. It was very unfortunate that the college doesn't have hostel facility for the first year students. So, I stayed in a private hostel which was owned by a professor working in the college. But I didn't like that place. I hardly stayed there for one month and moved to rented house alongwith 3 more friends from my native place. Initially I had tough time in escaping from the eyes of our seniors just because of ragging activity. They used to visit my place frequently and ragged me quite number of times. But after sometime, they became very friendly and helped me in many situations. It is still evergreen memories, the days we avoided college bus and went to college by walking more than 1/2 hour just because of ragging. I spent one year staying outside the college and 2nd year through final year, I stayed in the college hostel. During these days, I had lot of interest in extra curricular activities. I enjoyed a lot in watching college day festivals, hostel day celebrations. I didn't miss not even single function. I also had lot of fun in going picnics, tours & trekking. Everytime I initiate the idea and plan and my friends will execute. Every semester, we used to go some places. My friends, many times passed the comment that because of me, they got chances of seeing many places. There are some exciting days that even today I used to ponder. Some of them are college chairman election, College/Hostel day celebrations, One strike that transfered our principal because of his corruption, video shows at hostel, etc.

I see myself as an honest and hardworking person. But I realise that I often end up taking more than I can chew. I don't believe in luck, I believe in doing what I can best. I have tremendous respect for people who do things rather than just talk. I value words, and it hurts me if people go back on their words. I take extreme care not to upset anyone for any reason. The people whom I like working with are ones who have lot of fun and enjoy life and are not obsessed with their jobs. I always try to learn from others, for everyone has his own methods and we can always pick something from them. I am a nature loving person. I like to go to places like beaches, water falls, hill stations, etc. Dreaming is part of my Personality.

Since my father is a kind of person who does not like to waste not even single minute, I happened to leave my hometown for search of job as soon as I completed my degree. I not even stayed a week after my 4 year course completion. Before getting university results, I was forced to search of job and hence I left to Madras. After a week of job hunting, I got into a company as a saleman for their Air-conditioning equipments. It was just like door-to-door marketing. Weekly, they paid Rs.250/- as salary which includes conveyance, food, etc. I roamed like anything in all areas of Madras. I was staying at Kodambakkam with my friend in a Bachelor's mansion. There was no ventilation, fan and nothing. It was very horrible to stay in that room. I slept many days in the open air outside my room. I could not continue more than two weeks there. So I resigned my job and returned home. My father got worried and asked me to meet his friend in chengalpattu near madras. I left to madras immediately. I met his friend and he helped me a lot in getting job. I joined Gangadharam Appliances Ltd(Butterfly Group) through him. My career life started from this company. Initially I was in Design & Development Department. One fine day, my boss happened to see my academic project reports and he impressed a lot. He asked me whether I'm interested in CAD/CAM. Since it's my desire from my college days onwards to get into CAD/CAM field, I was very happy and accepted the offer. They were using high-end Engineering Workstation for CAD/CAM applications. Since I already worked on same system during my college days, I didn't find much difficult here. For many people, they won't get a job what they desire to get it. But I was very lucky enough to achieve what I desired. So I put all my efforts to learn. I used to stay in the company over night. I go home on alternative days only. After sometime, I found they were under utilising the power of the system. I explored the system and I did lot of developments. Management got impressed and they had good opinion on me. But things changed after one year. I was getting Rs.1000/- as salary and take home of Rs.750/- only. Initially I was staying with my father's friend at Tirupporur near Madras. I was with him for one month. Then I moved to rented house at Tambaram where I stayed with two more friends. My house located in a typical village atmosphere. It is surrounded with cattle forms. Really I was very lucky to have very good house owner. They are very polite, kind and more than that caring nature. Whenever I returned home late-night, House owner very kindly enquire me, "Why so late? Have you had your dinner?",etc. He always insist on my health. Many days, they used to give their food for me in case if I have not taken my dinner. Getting a salary of 750/- per month and living in madras is how difficult that anybody can realise. Many days, I skipped my dinner or had only bread and chips. This forced me to prepare food myself. In fact, I don't know anything about cooking. Before that I never go to kitchen when I was living with my parents. I started learning cooking. After a week training, I graduated. I found life very difficult and started thinking change of job. Fortunately, I had a very good colleague there and I had a good understanding with him. He asked me to come in evening shift so that I will get time in the morning to search job. Since the company was located on the outskirts and there was no bus facility, I used to sleep in the office itself after shift is over and returned home in the mornings. Immediately, I start preparing food for breakfast and lunch. Then I leave home and go to the city to search job. Everyday around 2 o'clock I will return home. Finish my lunch and then go to the company. I struggled like this for 3 months. One fine day, I got my offer letter from Ignifluid Boilers India Ltd., Madras.

What I value most in my life apart from my family is friendship. Life in the hostel during college days gave me a taste for freedom and I became part of a circle of friends. These friends are continuing till date. I believe in keeping in touch with reality. Even today, I used to meet old friends when I go to my native town. I am really very lucky to have very good friends throughout my life.
