As the Crowd Cheers

* I wrote this quite a while ago.

As the Crowd Cheers

Don’t you love it when the crowd cheers,

Yet demons try there best to make you sad with their jeers.

Doesn’t it make you feel good,

To know Elliot and Cindi are up there where they should.

When I pray and do good they’re glad,

But when I do wrong they are so sad.

When I heard that I did cry,

But it made me figure out the reason why.

Their lives on earth might have been terrible,

Yet going on after their deaths was almost unbearable.

Now from our lives they will always be gone,

We know their bodies will lie forever under a grassy lawn.

But their souls shall live forever above,

Where Jesus embraces them with love.
