Can't Wait

I wear a fake smile

All night and day,

'Cause you're not here

You've gone away.

I think my face

Might soon crack,

If you don't hurry

And come back.

The world can't see

The pain I'm in,

Even though I cry

Now and then.

The truth doesn't show

For all to view,

But really, truly

I'm missing you.

I can't wait

'Til you're back here,

Where we can see you

And hold you dear.
