How long must I search
how much time must I spend
trying my best to find
the perfect girlfriend
I know that I'll do whatever
I'll run, I'll fight, I'll climb a mountain
just to have that someone to
share my thoughts with again and again
intelligence and beauty all in one
someone perfect for me to find
I'll have to search the world
but it's ok, she's one of a kind
how long will I search
is it even right to look
or will she find me
like in every other story book
a girl with warm hands
and eyes that can warm my whole body
someone so perfect that
it makes me wonder, "why me?
how could I ever get someone
so perfect in every way?"
maybe she'll tell me
it's what I do, how I act, what I say
and of course, I would say the same
because it would be the truth
but maybe I shouldn't be looking for love
perhaps I should just enjoy my youth…
