Let me introduce myself. My name is Josephine Paulette Tittsworth. I am a heterosexual crossdresser who is living fulltime as a woman and attending college as a female. I am a student at the University of Houston Clear Lake. I am a double major in Social Work and Psychology. My goal is to continue school until I have achieved a Ph.D. in Social Work and Psychology. Upon completion of this goal I will be in a position to give proper care to the Transgender Community. Currently over 95% of the licensed therapists in our country are not qualified to work with Transgendered People, their spouses, or family members. I have recognized this need and I am working very hard to help fill the gap. I will also do qualified research on Transgendered issues as a researcher. I am attending the University of Houston Clear Lake on a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship (National Honor Society). This scholarship still does not cover all the costs involved in the education process. More funds are needed. I need your help, if a small town needs a therapist and is willing to fund my education I will be willing to discuss contracting services in exchange for their help. I am very much involved in educating the public on Transgender issues. I have appeared on MSNBC Investigates: The Secret Wardrobe. I have been mentioned in two of Dr. Peggy Rudd's books. I have been interviewed by many newspapers across the US and Canada. I have lobbied for Transgender Rights in the Texas legislature and the United States Senate and Congress. I have protested outside of the Winn Dixie Corporation Headquarters for their mistreatment of Peter Oiler. If you would like to help in educating the public you can contribute to my efforts and/or contribute to Triess. Triess also has a program to provide Research Grants to those who are doing research on heterosexual crossdressers and/or families of heterosexual crossdressers. If you are interested in appling for a research grant please contact Jane Ellen at jeftris@aol.com. Triess also has a program to donate books to libraries. If you know of a library to donate books to, please contact Jane Ellen at jeftris@aol.com.
