You'd be surprised at just how many critters will appreciate your efforts and will set up camp in your yard! You can create your own mini ecosystem!

Varieties of flowers

Marigolds-plant of the genus Tagetes of the family Asteracae, there are about 30 species of annual plants native to the Americas. They are mostly red, yellow and orange flowers that are solitary or clustered with leaflike structures that form a cup at the base of the flower. They have very strong scented leaves

Pansy- a popular cultivated hybrid violet of the family Violaceae. Native to Europe, the pansy is one of the oldest cultivated flowering plants. It is an annual or short lived perennial and grows 15 to 30 cm tall. The colors are usually in combos of velvety blues, yellows and whites and are 2.5 to 5 cm across with 5 petals. Four petals are in pairs; the fifth has a short spur.

Wouldn't you enjoy waking up to this every morning?(Just be glad that you don't have to water all of this!

Tulip - the common for bulbous plants comprising the genus Tulipa of the family Liliaceae. Within about 100 species there are thousands of colorful varieties. Most have solitary bell-shaped flowers and thick bluish-green leaves that are clustered at the base of the plant. The fruit is a capsule with many seeds.
