First there was light... and then there was Big Fat Huge!

Big Fat Huge all started in the heated summer of 1996 when two friends (and an annoying kid named Ian) decided to form a ska band out of the wreckage of yet another musical failure in the stories of our lives. Oh, what I wouldn't have given to have it all then...anyway, Luke, Pete and Ian got together and started playing some Less Than Jake cover tunes, and some horrible songs we came up with ourselves, with a couple other friends of ours. Then, due to irreconcilable differences, we had to kick Luke out of the band. After Pete and Ian had a short lived sitcom on the WB network ("It was on right after 'Homeboy's in Outer Space'. I wonder why no one watched it"?), the two decided to take Luke back after all. Big Fat Huge reformed better than ever, and have been on their reunion tour for almost three years now (not really but it adds to the story!).

Presently the band consists of Luke (guitar and lead vocals) who is unanimously considered to be the sexiest guy in town Pete (Drums), who likes to spend his spare time complaining about everything he possibly can. Ben (Bass and backup vocals), considered to be the failure (by way of weight, of course) in Big Fat Huge. Then there's Brian (alto sax), our loveable punk-rocking all star. And last of all, Josh (tenor sax) is making quite an impression upon all them ska people with his dazzling solos and snazzy hair.

After putting out our debut release, Watch Your Step, we played a bunch of local shows in support of it and realized a few things. One: we truly are the greatest rock band to ever walk the face of the earth. Two: Teachers really will come to your shows if you are nice enough to them, and Three: We need to stop writing songs about girls. No, actually we love it and anyone who doesn't can shove it!

And that's who we are, so live with it!
