I have learned that G.O.D stands for Generator, Operator, and Destroyer. Brahma is the generator, Vishnu is the operator, and Shiva is the destroyer. These are the three major gods. I also learned how Lord Ganesha got the elephant head. His mother, Parvati, was taking a shower, and asked him to guard the shower. Then his father, Shiva came by. But Ganesha woudn't let him in. Shiva got very angry and cut off Ganesha's head! Parvati was surprised and asked Shiva to go into the jungle and the first animal he finds will get it's head cut off and offered to Ganesha. The first animal Shiva saw was an elephant. So, this elephant's head became Ganesha's. And that is the story.

I also learned how Durga came to life. There was a demon who always killed people. But the gods' weapons couldn’t hurt the demon. So Shiva concentrated on his third eye to create Durga. She had six arms. All the Gods gave Durga their weapons. Then she went beyond the mountains to find the demon. She found the demon. When the demon saw Durga, he asked her to marry him. Durga replied, "You will have to defeat me in battle, if I am to marry you!" She then used the gods' weapons against the demon. But they coundn't kill him. Finally Durga kicked the demon. Then she used Shiva's spear to kill the demon.

I heard the rumor says that all the water on earth came from Ganga river. Also there lived a god called Ganga. And you can tell who is the Godess Saraswatee. In pictures of her, she will be holding an instrument called the veena.

Last, but not the least there are three kinds of diets. One of them is the worst because if you have this you only eat meat. Too much meat is bad, because the animal the meat came from may have had a desease. And this disease will be passed on to you if you eat that meat. So don't always eat meat.
