This was undoubtedly the best game I have been in since The Voyager handed my butt to me back in 98 or 99.
Originally there were links between Tlateloco and Quetzacoatl and between Tlateloco and Gladiator.  I originally colonized Quetzacoatl and Orion nuked it.  We had a very LONG standoff with his builder at Gladiator and mine at Teopan.  Orion then decided to engineer his hw off.  He closed the link from Tlateloco and Conquistador and from Orion to Gladiator.  After our fleets wiped each others out Tlateloco, I decided the best way to win this would be to close Gladiator off.  So I moved a br2 or 3 engineer and a few br4 attacks and sciences to Tlateloco.  He was expecting me to open Conquistador I believe because he built a fleet there.  But I closed him off first and re-opened Conquistador.  I closed off Quetzacoatl, colonized Quetzacoatl and Tlateloco.  I built a fleet to go attack him, I moved the br1.5 or br.5 engineer to Conquistador.  Fortunately for me he didn't see it, how I don't know, but I was able to nuke Conquistador.  That gave me the game.  The next update he resigned and allowed me to nuke him.

Good game Orion Empire!
