q    General management of the company

Achievements:

q      Successfully repositioned the company after its acquisition (67% of shares) by the Saudi Group The Savola Cie.

q       Succeeded in expanding the local operations by launching new qualities of products:1995 market share:21% vs.5% in 1992.

q    Succeeded to up-grade the factory in order to match the international production standards.

q    Conducted the design and the development of new export products and strongly contributed to their successful implementation into the US market.

q    Cogia becomes the first Tunisian company to export bottled olive oil to the US market.

q    1995 turnover:U$ 8 million vs.U$ 1 million in 1992.

q    Participated in various negotiations in Morocco, Spain, USA, Algeria, Libya, UK..(for new acquisitions and industrial partnership) on behalf of The Savola Group.

q     Identified,appointed and managed distributors for Savola products,in Lebanon,Syria and Jordan.

q    Strongly contributed to the Cogia's acquisition in coordination with Swicorp-Finance (Geneva).

q     Recruited and trained Area Managers for the Levant area.

q    Initiated and organized the 1 st Savola's international meeting with the major distributors.

q       Management of the sales network (40 salespersons).

q       Liaison with the Orangina Int'l. Marketing Division-Paris

Achievements:

q       Set up and developed the sales network.

q       Opened sales branches in Jeddah,Ryadh,Medina,Mecca & Khamis Mushit;

q       Developed and implemented sales training programs and sales reporting systems.

q    Successfully launched the Orangina brand in Saudi Arabia (80% of distribution rate,year 1).

Sector:

Remaco is a joint venture between the French Pernod-Ricard and Saudi investors.

Bottling and marketing Orangina for the Middle East.
