Cranberry Relish aka Subbie blush relish

1 sm bx cherry sugar free jello
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 can(20 oz) crushed pineapple
seedless grapes cut in half
marachino cherries cut in half
pecans and walnuts as much or as little as you like

mix jello with 1 1/2 cups hot water and dissolve once dissolved add rest of ingredients and refrigerate for an hour before serving.


cherri's Imitation Crab and Pasta salad

2 pkgs. Louis Kemp, imitation crab (other brand I have tried aren't very good)
7 oz. pkg. tiny pasta shells ( I use Creamettes)
1/2 of a pound pkg, rotini
1/2 pkg 10-oz frozen peas
1/2 pkg. Dole cole slaw ( by the salad in bags in the produce section)
1 med. onion, finely chopped
3-4 celery stalk, finely chopped
1-1/2 cups mayonnaise
1-1/2 cups sour cream

Cook pasta according to pkg. directions. Run water over peas in colander, but do not cook. Drain pasta and rinse in cold water, drain well. In a large bowl stir together all remaining ingredients. My mom likes to add a little freshly squeezed lemon juice to the dressing. Chill in the refrigerator for approx. 3 hours.


Taffy Apple Salad submitted

2 small cans Pineapple chunks, in juice
1 bag mini-marshmallows
1 cup sugar
4 Tablespoons flour
4 Tablespoons vinegar
5-6 apples, diced ( I use a mix of granny smith and red delicious)
4 cups spanish peanuts (I use dry-roasted and break them up in a blender)
2 well beaten eggs
2-12 oz. containers Cool Whip

Drain pineapple(save juice) and mix with marshmallows overnight. Make sauce: Mix juice, sugar, flour, vinegar and eggs, Cook slowly to a pudding consistency. I do this over a very low flame and whisk the entire time so the eggs do not curdle. Refrigerat over night. Next day: Mix Cool Whip with the sauce and add apples, peanuts and marshmallow mixture. Note: the apples can be diced peeled or unpeeled. Also this makes a very large batch, so only make half of the recipe unless making it for a party. This salad tastes just like taffy apples, surprisingly. Enjoy!


Wicked's Chicken Salad

8 chicken breasts or 1 whole chicken...cooked, deboned and chopped
2 lbs grapes, red & white. seedless..and cut in half
4 stalks of celery
1 small onion, diced
1 8oz. jar of sweet salad cubes,undrained
1 8 oz. jar of dill salad cubes, drained
Mix with enough mayo to suit you...set aside Heat oven to 425..

cook:

1 sm package almonds
1 sm package pecans
Cook for 5 minutes. Add to chicken mixture

Mix...refrigerate over night...just before serving..add enough mayo to moisten. This is a wonderful dish....but it makes a lot!
