Steph, Tay, Ike, Zac, Marie, and Christine sat at the table in Christine's kitchen. Silence filled the room.
"So," Christine asked, "What do you all want for breakfast?" "Whatever," Steph said.
"Cereal?" Christine asked. "But, we only have Rice Crispies." "Sounds good," Tay said. Christine got up and made five bowls of Rice Crispies, then walked over to the table and handed everyone a bowl. The room filled with silence once again.
After about five minutes, Christine couldn't take the silence anymore, "Ike, I'm sorry," she apologized.
"For what?" he asked, looking up from his bowl of cereal.
"For being like I was with Frank."
"Don't be sorry," he said, "People live their lives differently, that's just the way you are."
"No," she argued, "I'm not like that, I just feel so pressured around him. He's so hot."
Marie sighed. "This is stupid," Marie yelled, "Christine, you're acting like you and Ike are dating or something. Well, you aren't! Besides, there's no way it would have worked if you did go out. You're two different people that live in two different worlds. There's nothing you can do about that."
"Ike," Christine said, "Please accept my apology. You guys are leaving in a few minutes and I won't be able to live with myself if you leave here hating me."
"I don't hate you!" he protested, "I'm only saying that you have no reason to apologize. You didn't do anything wrong."
"Please," Christine repeated, "Please just accept my apology." "Fine," he muttered, "I accept it." Someone knocked on the door. Ike looked up at the clock, "That's for us."
"Bye," Steph said. Then they all walked out of the house. Walker, Tay, Zac, and Ike's dad, was at the door. Tay, Zac, Ike, Steph, and Walker got into the tour bus. Christine and Marie stood on the front lawn of Christine's house waving goodbye as the bus pulled away. Tay, Zac, Ike, and Steph waved goodbye until they got out of the driveway, then they all sat down.
