BJ Armstrong - Guitar, Vocals
Green Day History Before 1995. Billie Joe Armstrong born February 17, 1972, the youngest of six children. His father was a truck driver/jazz drummer and his mother worked as a waitress at Rod's Hickory Pit. When he was five BJ would sing at hospitals to cheer up old people. In July of 1994 BJ married his girlfriend Adrienne Nesser, the ceremony lasted only 5 minutes and both drank beer to calm their nerves before the wedding. The day after the wedding Adrienne discovered she was pregnant with Billie's child. In March of 1995, Joseph Marcicano Armstrong was born.
Mike Dirnt - Bass & Tre Cool - Drums
Mike Dirnt born May 4, 1972 had a tough child hood. With a heroin addict for a mother Mike bounced back and forth between his divorced adoptive parents. Finally, Mike struck out on his own working at many jobs including Rod's Hickory Pit, where he first met Billie Joe. In August of 1996, Mike married his girlfriend Anastasia, and they had one child, Estelle-Desiree. The pressures of being a member of Green Day have become too much for Mike and Anastasia and the two have since separated.
Tre Cool, born Frank Edwin Wright III in December of 1972, grew up with his father and two siblings. When John Kiffmeyer, Green Day's drummer on their debut album, 39/Smooth left for college Tre joined the band. Tre married Lisea Lyons in March of 1995, and together they had a daughter, Ramona. The two have since separated but are still on good terms.
