Tournament Rules

Tech Tourney Rules First Round: Qualifiers 1-6 Division: Right Now Trick 7-9 Division: B4U Maniac Top 8 in each division will be seeded and move on to the next round. Second Round: List and Bag of Death Yes they're back! >:D The list will contain 8 songs. The higher seed will pick the first song from the list. The bag will contain a few songs (at least 8). The lower seed will pick the second song from the bag. In the event a third song is needed, the higher seed will pick a song from the bag. Handicaps may be prechosen for the songs in this round (7-9 division only). Third Round: Players Choice This is your standard MWS format here, with the higher seed picking the song and the lower seed picking the difficulty and handicaps. The order is reversed for the second song, where the lower seed picks the song and the higher seed picks difficulty and handicap. If a third song is needed, higher seed will pick the song and lower seed will pick the difficulty and handicaps. Stealth is not allowed. Fourth Round: Card of Doom! (Idea from DDR Magic 3) Five songs will be listed on a card. The higher seed will cross off one song first. Then the lower seed will cross off a song. The remaining three songs will be used to determine a winner. A word of warning: Handicaps will play an increased role in this tourney. If you are in the 1-6 division expect to see shuffle, left, right, and mirror used, especially in the final round. If you are in the 7-9 division, expect to see any combination of mods that does not include stealth, little, or flat. Freestyle You may use 5th and 6th Mix for the freestyle portion of the tournament, but please keep your routine PG-13. ie. No humping the machine etc.
