A hired gun to the highest bidder. Call it a family tradition. The tradtition is usually passed down to the son in the family, but since Dariana was an only child and her mother died when she was a year old, she became the next in line. Dariana's training began as soon as she was able to walk with ease. Her father trained her extensively in the martial arts and taught her the many secrets of ninja invisibility. She learned to handle many types of weaponry, from primitive to the most sophisticated artillery. Fear was not in her vocabulary. She was a killing machine at age 11. Her final lesson was taught to her in the year AC 195, when she was twelve years old. All she had to do was watch her father in action. She had learned all she needed to know. The target was one of the Alliance's mobile suit scientists giving a speech on the importance of mobile suit research and development at the local military base. Dariana and her father infiltrated the base with ease and took their place on the catwalk above the lecture hall. The scientist was about halfway through his speech when a piece of metal fell from the ceiling and hit the stage beside him. Before he could look up, the room erupted with shouts of pain and the sounds of a bullet shower. OZ had decided to claim the base for themselves and use the scientist as their insurance policy. Meanwhile, on the catwalk, Dariana was huddled over her father trying to stop the blood from gushing out of his chest. He had been shot by two OZ soldiers sent to find out who or what made the metal fall. Dariana tried to save her father, but he was hit before she could get to him. Enraged, she shot the two soldiers and left them for dead. Dariana managed to drag her father to an isolated part of the base which appeared to be a lab of some sort. As she frantically searched for a first aid kit, her father told her that she must carry on the family tradition, as he could no longer. "You have more power within you than you realize," he told her, "once you harness that power, nothing can stop you. I want you to take this." He said handing her a detonation device. "I always plant explosives in case something goes wrong. I want you to take this and get the hell out of here. My time has run out. You must survive. I am going to be with your mother. I love you my dear sweet daughter." Dariana's father took his last breath and closed his eyes. Dariana did not weep, she was too strong for that. She had to fufill her father's wishes. Outside, as the flames of what used to be a military establishment licked the night sky, Dariana vowed to avenge her father's death. She would make OZ pay. He would not die in vain. Shortly after that, Dariana joined the circus, having nowhere else to go. She befriended a girl named Catherine and a boy named Trowa. They became her only family. When Dariana learned Trowa was a Gundam pilot, she became furious that he had lied to her. In her rage, she lied about her age and joined OZ in an attempt at revenge against Trowa. She stayed with them until the rise of White Fang, when she realized how wrong she had been and what a grave mistake she made. Seeking redemption, she boarded Peacemillion and begged for forgiveness. They forgave her, except for Trowa, who refused to speak to her, and she became a great asset to the team. With peace finally beginning to settle in after the fall of White Fang and the death of Treize Kushrenada, Dariana disappeared. She needed to sort out her feelings. She could not face Trowa. It hurt her too much. Her whereabouts for the next 5 years remain a mystery. Now, in the year AC 200, she has come out of the darkness seeking solace from the gundam pilots and their friends. The question is, will she be able to rekindle the relationship with Trowa she once had?
