The following is a tale of truth and tragedy, its one that is happening right here in the Ozark Forest, right now. It happens regularly in this community where animals that don't provide sustenance to the humans are valued as pests. The vermin that chew into the feed sacks are of equal value to a dog that does not work or give its young for profit. Pests are handled harshly and with a finality that most people would not even consider. Kindness is a very rare commodity in these harsh and rugged farm and forest communities.............but this, this is just beyond all logic and humanity.
