You're Dead - History/Bio This is not at all complete at this time, check back soon for updates.

The creation of You're Dead was around 1999, when founding members Cody Markusic (ex-Magnum) and Van Mcghee (ex-Defenestration, ex-Snatch) met at school and began jamming. Mutual friend Don Wolff (ex-Defenestration, ex-Dislimb, ex-Magnum) jammed with the band on and off for the first 2 years or so, rotation between guitar, vocals, and bass, before finally settling in on the bass guitar position in 2003. Jesse Kepple (ex-Defenestration) was called in during one of Don's hiatus' to fill at first the bass postion, than switching over to the 2nd guitar. Shortly after Jesse joining the band, longtime friend of Van, and Cody's cousin, Dan Mustar, stepped up to do the duty of vocal brutality. Dan was asked to leave the band in late 2003, due to conflicting interests with the bands goals. At the drop of the new year (2004), You're Dead began their conquest of the Northeastern Ohio metal scene, and will continue their reign of destruction to the ends of the Earth.....
