Hello. My name is Shawna. I am a newer Satanist. I am 14 years old and I come from a Xian family. I decided their religion wasn't for me and started a search for a new one. This one matched my beliefs perfectly.

Reasons you should be in it:

• You can take your time and make your own decisions. Xians have to go and get baptized and all kinds of things. Unless there is a time period in which you are supposed to do stuff (awakenings, ect.) then you can take your time.
• Satan is kind and loving. I just started and have already felt it. Satan is understanding and takes things into consideration. He understands since I am underage my parents force me to go to church and such.
• Unlike in Christianity you can ask questions. I was in church once, against my will, and saw that people didn't understand what was being said. It was clear on their face and even in 'Bible school' you can't question anything. If you do they don't answer. So far all my questions have been answered even if they were rather stupid. (I asked how Xian was pronounced if that tells you anything... I am so dumb.) Everyone has been kind to me.
• On the site Joy of Satan it has a analogy. "An good analogy/story is an xian, in serious trouble, in desperation, takes his last change, goes to a phone booth in the freezing rain and dials heaven. He keeps getting a busy signal. After quite some time, someone answers and puts him on hold. They leave him on hold. • The Xian god is cruel, as stated in many places I have found and in the bible. I looked it up myself even. He makes you follow commandments and most make no since. There is nothing you can do to not sin if you are Xian. Satanism is about being an individual, Xians have to follow the rules and if they did they would all be alike. Have you ever noticed Xians make Satan the bad guy but it is always 'the wrath of god' and always is god sending plagues. A caring god would not do that.
• There is a group for teenagers on Yahoo called Teens for Satan. Many people are there to help. This includes High Priests and Priestesses. They willingly take time out of their day and help you. They are kind and can explain stuff so they YOU can understand and not so that you just hear it. I am not very bright but they still say it in a way I can understand. I never found that in the church my parents attend.

I will not put any rituals and such on my site because that is the job of professionals. I am not very good at any of it yet so I wouldn't want to lead anyone astray even by accident.
