Course Description:
Information
Technology (IT) Fundamentals is a foundation course designed for students to
acquire the necessary IT skills for their chosen careers. This foundation course
will expose them to all areas of IT that are needed in the world of work. The
class is provided in partnership with Whitehall-Yearling High School and
Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools to provide state-of-the-art
training in IT to Whitehall-Yearling students at their home school. One
credit; sophomore standing.
Course Objectives:
The
curriculum will focus on introducing students to the four occupational cluster
areas of IT that reflect the skills required in many occupations today.
