"I miss you so much, Jace," Sarah's tearful voice came over my cell phone. My heart pained at her crying. This was the one thing I hated about touring - leaving Sarah behind. So, once again, we were reduced to phone conversations as I sat on the tour bus after a show on the way to the next city.

"I love you too, sweetie. Goodnight. 1... 2... 3..." I trailed off in a whisper and we both clicked off our phones at the same time.

I sighed as I leaned my head against the bus window and stared out into the darkness as the world outside flew by. "You ok, C?" I heard Lance ask. I turned to see him, Justin, Chris, and Joey all looking at me.

"Yea... I just miss her, that's all. I hate that she's hurting and I hate even more that I'm miles away and can't be there to take that pain away."

"She knows you love her, JC. It'll be ok," Justin said reassuringly as he placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks, J. I appreciate the support guys. It makes it a little easier," I replied, smiling half-heartedly.

"We're gonna watch a movie, C. Wanna join us?" Justin asked.

I shook my head. "No, I don't think so guys. I think I'll pass this time and just go lay down and try to get some sleep," I responded as I got up and headed to my bunk. "Night, guys."

"Night, C," all four of them said.

I climbed into my bunk and closed my eyes. Immediately visions of Sarah flooded my mind as I drifted off to sleep.
