Blessed

Jeff stood there, standing
at the altar, waiting for his bride to be, to walk down. He couldn't believe
that he was getting married today. He turned to look at his best men. Nick,
Drew and Justin. He couldn't choose one between his best friends, so he asked
them all, if they would be his best men. He waited nervesly. In just a few
moments, she would be walking down the aile. He waited for this day to come,
but couldn't actually believe that it was already here.
His heart started pounding
fast and his hands started to get clamy. He turned to Nick, who was standing
next to him.
"Man, I'm getting
really nerves here," He whispered. "What if I can't be the husband,
that Desi wants me to be?"
Nick looked up at him, and
put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, she loves you. You
will do just fine. I was the same way, when Mya and I got married."
Drew couldn't help but
over hear Nick and Jeff's conversation.
"If it helps any, I
was the same way when Lindsey and I got married," Drew said.
Jeff let out a small
laugh. He remembered the day that Lindsey and Drew got married. Everything was
total kaos. Lindsey kept on getting sick, for which she was pregnant, with
their daughter, Meghan at the time. Her wedding dress got mixed up with someone
elses. The flowers were running late and a few of the bride maids got stuck in
traffic. But when everything got under control, it went smoothly.
"How could I forget.
We had to smack you around a couple times to keep you from going mad,"
Jeff said, laughing.
Nick and Justin were
trying to hold back their laughter.
"That was a crazy
day," Justin said.
"What if my wedding
turns out like that?" Jeff asked, starting to get worried.
"It won't. Desi is
past, the morning sickness, everything is here on time. So, you don't have to
worry about that," Nick said.
"But, what if she
goes into labor?"
"She won't. She has 3
months to go, before the baby is due," Drew said.
"But, what
if...." But Justin cut him off.
"Enough with the but,
what if. Nothing will go wrong. Things will go perfectly."
"Sorry guys. I'm just
really nerves," Jeff said.
In The Back.
Desiree was waiting
nervesly, in the back room. She stood in front of the mirror, looking at herself.
She smiled to herself, as she looked at her stomach. She was small for being 6
months pregnant, but the doctor told her, that they baby was healthy. She
couldn't believe she was getting married, to a wonderful man, and having a
baby.
Her thoughts her shaken
away, when there was a knock at the door. She walked over to the door, and
opened it.
"Hey guys. I'm so
glad that you're here," She said, letting the three girls in. "For a
minute, I thought you weren't going to come."
"Why wouldn't
we?" Mya asked.
"I don't know. I'm
just really nerves here. And I can't think straight here. I just think that I'm
going to mess up or something."
"Don't say that. You
will do wonderful," Lindsey said, giving her a hug.
"Yeah. Everything
will be perfectly," Kylie said. "I just can't wait, until Justin and
I get married. I hope it will be just as beautiful as your guys wedding."
"If you let us help,
it will be," Desi said. "Does anyone know how Jeff is doing?"
"From the last time I
asked to him, he was a nerves reck," Mya said, with a smile. "But,
I'm sure, Nick, Drew and Justin, are keeping him from going mad."
The four girls laughed.
There was another knock at
the door. It was Desiree's father, telling her that it was time.
"Here goes
nothing," She said, to herself as, Her, Mya, Lindsey and Kylie left the
room.
They got in their places
and waited for the music.
Jeff stood there, and
waited for the music to start.
The music started, and
Lindsey, Mya and Kylie started walking down the aile. They took their places on
the other side of the guys.
Jeff watched as Desiree
and her father made their way down the aile. He never realized just how
beautiful she was, until he saw her in her dress. His heart filled up with
love. He couldn't believe that it was going to happen. Him, a married man. He
smiled to himself, of the thought of that. And he was happy that it was going
to be with her.
He loved Desiree, with all
his heart. He never met a girl like her before. Beautiful, smart, caring,
everything he ever wanted in a girl, was in her. And he wouldn't want to be
with anyone else.
Even though they had been
together for only a short period of time, he never thought he would be this
happy with someone.
He stepped down, took a
hold of her hand, and helped her up the first step. There, they stood side by
side. Jeff turned his head to look at Desiree. He smiled to himself. She looked
up and smiled.
Desiree left as though she
was going to cry. She was so happy, that once for all, she could call him,
hers.
"Dearly beloved. We
are garthered here, to join these two people in holy matchamony," The
preist started.
It was time for Jeff to
say his vow that he wanted to share with her.
"At this time, Jeff,
would like to say his own persnally vow. Jeff."
Jeff turned to look at
Desiree. He took a deep breath and began. "Desiree, this past 1 1/2 that
we have been together, have been the happiest days of my life. I never thought
that I could love someone like I love you. You have been the soulmate that I've
been waiting for, my whole life. I love you so much and I will never stop
loving you. You're the one that completes my soul and my heart. And I'm really
glad that I can call you mine."
Desiree looked up at him,
with tears streaming down the side of her face. She was touched by his sweet
words. She smiled at him.
"And now, Desiree
would like to say her vows."
"Jeff, I'm so
thankful that you're in my life. I never thought I'd be able to love again,
until you stepped into my life. You've helped me through some really tough times,
and I thank you for always being there for me. I feel like I've been blessed to
have you as my husband and to carry your baby. And I couldn't ask for more. I
love you so much and I will cherish every moment we have together."
They turned back to the
presit as he continued on with the ceremony.
"Rings please,"
He said, as Nick handed Jeff the rings.
"Place the ring on
her finger and repeat after me," He said, as Jeff slipped the ring on her
finger.
"I, Jeffrey Timmons,
take thee, Desiree Adams, to be my wife, to have and to hold. Through sickness
and in health, to death do us part."
Jeff repeated the preist,
not taking his eyes away from Desi.
"Desiree, please
place the ring on his finger and repeat after me."
Desiree placed the ring on
his finger.
"I, Desiree Adams,
take thee Jeff Timmons to be my husband, to have and to hold. Through sickness
and health, to death do us part."
And she repeated the words
that the preist had said.
"Now, Do you Jeff
take Desiree to be your wife?"
"I do," He said,
with a wide grin on his face.
"Do you Desiree take
Jeff to be your husband?"
"I do," She
said, trying hard not to cry.
"With the power of
the state of Ohio, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your
bride."
He wrapped his arms around
her and pulled her close to him, kissing her softly on the lips. A kiss that
they would never forget.
"I give to you, Mr.
and Mrs. Jeff Timmons."
Everyone in the church,
stood up and started clapping and cheering.
3 Months Later.
Jeff stood next to
Desiree, as she pushed. Giving her courage, and telling her that she's doing
great.
"You're doing
wonderful baby, just a few more pushes," Jeff said, kissing his wife on
the forehead.
"It hurts Jeff. I
can't go on. I'm so tired," Desiree said, breathlessly. She began to
breathe heavier, and she gripped Jeff's hand as another contraction began.
"On this contraction
Desiree, I need you to push," Her doctor said.
"Okay," She
said, through glitched teeth.
"Push."
And she push. She push and
pushed. She put everything she had left and pushed. Crying, screaming cause it
hurt like hell.
But in a few seconds, it
was over. A soft cry came from what Jeff and Desiree waited for. Finally, after
7 long hours, their baby was finally here.
Desiree started to cry,
when she heard her baby cry.
"You did it, Desi,
you did it," He said, kissing her on the lips.
"Congradulations.
It's a girl!"
Shortly after, the doctor
handed Desiree her daughter.
"She's
beautiful," Jeff said, looking down at the tiny infant.
"What should we name
her," Desiree asked.
"Um...how about
Kristina Danielle?"
"That's a perfect
name."
Jeff leaned down and
kissed his daughter. And whispered something in her ear.
Desiree turned to look at
him and smiled. Everything she ever wanted, she had. A wonderful husband and a
beautiful daughter. She couldn't ask for more.
"I love you
Jeff."
"I love you too
baby," He said as he kissed her lightly on the lips.
"I've been blessed
with a beautiful family." He whispered against her lips.
