I am the Jean Genie. Let me tell you a story...
Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Cynthiana. And although Cynthiana's mother bought her lots of clothes, she had a most favorite pair of blue jeans that she wore every day.
One day she noticed that the knees were wearing thin on this favorite pair, but didn't think anything of it. "They will last forever", she thought to herself. But about a week later, sh dropped her pencil and it rolled under her desk. As she bent to pick it up she heard "riiiip" and lo' and behold, the knees tore completely through.
Cynthiana was so upset, but what could she do? Her mother took her to the mall and found another pair of bluejeans that she like even more. She didn't know what to do with the old pair. Then she remembered that her friend Beatice was having a yard sale "I'll take them to Beatrice", she thought - and she did.
The Jean Genie visits yard sales in search of lonely favorite bluejeans an on one trip, she found Cyntiana's old favorit pair. "Wow", thought the Jean Genie, "This pair only has holes in the knees, I could make lots of things with them."
And so, the Jean Genie began making one-of-a-kind bags for others using gently used bluejeans. Each bag is had crafted by me and tailored to your needs and tastes. You may choose color as well as size and if you indicate what you will be using the bag for, I will attempt to personalize it to your needs!
