Our
first meeting was more healing than I could ever imagine. I believe that everyone left there walking a little
taller and more secure.
Free childcare is provided at all meetings, and there is no
cost or membership fee. If
you need any further information and would like help out and
share with other service families,
please email us at:

We
would like to start local meetings in other areas, so if you are interested in starting a satellite
group, please email us at:
If you know parents or spouses of anyone serving in the military, please pass this website address to them, and let them know that this is a group being formed to help one another. There is so much power in sharing and knowing that you are not alone. The best way that we can take care of our boys now is to take care of ourselves (and keep sending letters and wonderful care packages). They are going to need us when they come home. Please pass this along to those in the Columbus area who have loved ones in the military, especially those serving overseas. |
May God bless America and those who serve Her!

A
warning from your friendly neighborhood web guy:
Please be especially careful
opening and forwarding emails- a lot of virus writers take
advantage of times like this to help circulate malicious viruses
and worms, often disguised as polls, petitions, pictures,
patriotic screensavers, and other war related subject lines. Be
very careful opening any emails with attachments, and make sure
your operating system and antivirus software have been updated. If
you suspect that your computer may be infected, here is a very
good free online virus scan:

There are often a lot hoaxes, misinformation,
viruses, and rumors circulating through the internet. Before
you become become alarmed or forward information
you've received in an email or seen on a website, forum, or weblog, please check the following resource:
Purportal.com
tracks down
the truth about what is going around the Web. For example, the NACEC,
a volunteer organization that
helps military families, is the victim
of a false rumor
that continues to be spread and posted to some large websites
that should know better. With Purportal.com,
you can check things out yourself if something sounds alarming or suspicious.
