I've gotten tired of going to Fanfiction.net and having my uploads get messed up, so I decided that it would be smart to create a place for my own works that I had control over that will hopefully not crash out at inconvenient times.  I'm also going to include links to fics that I like, and I gladly welcome recommendations from my readers on other Harry Potter, Star Wars, Stargate SG-1, and Lord of the Rings fanfic that they like. 

Please note that I am not a "shipper" in the usual sense of fanfiction.  For me, the character relationships are more than just who is romancing or shagging who.  When you see a pair (or more) of names after as story title, it doesn't mean that they are in love; simply that they are the main characters being written about.  If I provide a romanctically based story, I'll tell you so in the summary.  In general, I prefer to read (and write)  fics that are not explicit when it come to sexual situations, and stories where the violence is actually plot- or character-driven instead of being there for gratuitous sensationalism.  That doesn't mean that I won't read a piece of fluff if I'm in the mood! *grin*
