Ohio Sign Goofs
Part of the Buckeye State Roads Gateway
Ohio is a huge state, and thousands of miles of highway are maintained within its confines. As much as possible, accuracy in signage is assured along these roads. However, there are times when a U.S. route number is erroneously placed in an Ohio route marker, or a name on a sign is misspelled, or some other sign goof occurs. This page is dedicated to those signage gaffs that occur on the highways and by-ways of the Buckeye State. If you come across a sign goof and can get a photo of it, please let me know! Contact me at michohioroads#yahoo.com (change "#" to "@" to e-mail). Also, if you have noticed that any of the signage errors below have been corrected, please let me know about that, too!

The
first reassurance marker for US 22 in downtown Cincinnati should actually
be accompanied by an OH 3 shield. Instead, a US 3 shield was erected beneath
it.
