DREAMS have always amazed me! And one knows when there is amazement with a
subject, research normally follows!
I can remember dreams from my childhood, but forget what I dreamed of
last night!
And I often wonder...is there a horrendous hidden symbol when I have
that dream where I find my husband driving an ice cream truck, with the
song OH Little Playmate in the background as he repeatedly drove up
and down our street - with CARMEN ELECTRA by his side! LOL
Well I don't think I want to analyze that
particular dream but other recurring and symbolic dreams led me to
investigate the theories of our dreams.
The one detail that seemed to be true with everyone I talked to about
the meaning of dreams...is that the symbols used by all of the dream
dictionaries never quite fit each person.
One
thing I have learned from doing psychic work is how to understand and
decipher symbols and signs.
Signs and symbols are how those on the other side...our spirit guides,
deceased loved ones and Angels MUST
communicate with us.
Remember....
They have no vocal cords!
I finally got the fact that those on the other side...be it
spirit guides, our celestial council or departed loved ones must work
symbolically with us to get a message thru.
They are energy and energy does not have vocal cords or voice.
It would only make sense that our dreams are filled with signs &
symbols as well.
I know this will shock some – but I do believe in God…I believe that
Jesus is his only begotten son – and I believe in Mary & the
saints. I consider myself Christian/Catholic. With this belief that I
have since a child, I also believe that everything we need … God has
provided us. Whether it is a suggestion, knowledge or cure for cancer.
“WE” just have to find it.
I believe our dreams are yet another form of ethereal communication...
It was probably 1999 to 2000 when I started to really dive into dreams
and their meaning. Eventually I asked friends, family & clients if I
could interpret a dream for them and then they would let me know if the
interpretation made sense to them.
My findings were (not to pat myself on the back but) they were amazing.
What I found was that some of the dreams I interpreted were prophetic
for the person having the dream. They were dreaming of events to come.
Some dreams, I felt, the dreamer was visiting with soul mates &
deceased loved ones. Inside of some dreams were warnings.
Let me share this interpretation I did for a relative. We will call her
Susie just to keep this private for her.
She was happily married to her high school sweetheart. They would be
married the month after the interpretation. She was happy – he was
happy. They were both around 23-24 years old and had been together since
they were 15-16.
Susie couldn’t wait to see what I came up with for her dream
interpretation. The dream had frightened her for the past several years!
She would have the dream approximately 2 to 3 times a month and when I
asked her how long the dreams had been there she estimated since she was
13 to 14.
In the dream she was walking down an alleyway. She didn’t know where
the location was but she said she had this feeling that she was in a
less than desirable neighborhood. It was the type of place a gal would
pull her purse close to her side. It was twilight outside. Not totally
dark, not totally light.
She would hear footsteps behind her … this frightened her at first but
she said she always had the urge to turn around and greet the
“footsteps”. When I asked her to explain this a bit more, I could
tell she was searching for an explanation. She had never thought about
this before. I knew I had to listen closely to her words … this part
was important my instincts told me.
Susie explained that where the sound of the footsteps frightened her,
she felt like she knew the person and would be glad to see him or her.
She asked me “How could I feel both of those things at once?” I
didn’t have the answer for her … at least not at the time of this
interpretation J
I had her share more of the dream but I was already at it – I was
tuned in psychically to see what “I” sensed about this dream.
There are times when I wish that if God were going to bless me with a
gift that I would use daily because it was a part of my occupation …
he would have provided me with a nice little video store on the corner.
Then my job would include watching the latest blockbuster so that I
could tell my customers what to rent!
This was one of those times because when “I” asked who the person
behind Susie was … I could see her fiancé. (let’s call him Sam)
I didn’t want to say it – I liked Sam. We all did and we were
thrilled they were getting married soon. So what do I do? Do I tell her
or do I keep it to myself?
Well – this was 15 to 16 years ago. I had been doing professional
psychic readings for a few years … but I was still novice enough to
make the decision (unwise decision) to tell Susie “I don’t know who
it is behind you”
I did tell her everything else. I told Susie that the person behind her
was someone she knew. The meaning of the dream was that this person
could be two VERY DIFFERENT people. He or she had secrets and they
weren’t little tiny secrets. It was huge. The reason she felt like she
wanted to turn around and greet the footsteps is because he OR she had
made her feel comfortable. He OR she did things in the dark, he
wouldn’t do in the day.
I asked her if the location seemed familiar. She said there was this
acquainted sense…but she couldn’t put her finger on it.
Three years later … we had both kind of forgot about the dream. But
her marriage had fell upon the rocks. Sam was having an affair L It literally broke
Susies heart. She had gone to his office to surprise him right around
dinner time … she found him with his secretary.
A few weeks later, I brought up my dream interpretation to Susie. We
were driving in the car. I thought we were going to run off the road
when she almost literally squealed with an OH MY GOSH VICKI OH MY
GOSH!!!
I thought I was in deep trouble for not sharing the fact that the
footsteps belonged to Sam – but what she said let me know (for sure)
it was time to do the intuitive dream interpretations for clients.
The buildings around her … the neighborhood…it was the EXACT
description of her soon to be ex-husbands OFFICE!
Are you tripping? Stunned?
Yep…I was too. And the time of day … was the same time she had went
to surprise Sam.
For Susie – her dream was preparing her for the breakup. It was a
warning.
Every dream is different … and they all have their reasons for showing
up when you lay your head down on the pillow.
I believe that some dreams give us a sample of what our life would be
like…if we take a certain turn on our path.
I had a customer who would call me often and her topic was always about
divorcing her husband. She always had the general reading but surprised
me by ordering the dream interpretation because she was having the same
dream several times a month.
In the dreams – she WAS divorced. Each dream had a different spin.
They were not all the same. After tuning in to see what I felt – again
it amazed me. The purpose of her dreams? She needed to experience
exactly how much she loved her husband and exactly how sad she would
be…if he were indeed gone.
They are still together 8 years later J
The dream saved her marriage.
When I approach a dream interpretation, there are certain things I look
for.
I can’t share them with you in case you decide to order the
interpretation.
I want you to provide the answers to my questions not realizing what I
will need to tune into. This is actually very important.
Everyone is so different that there is no way one item can represent one
meaning. Here is a for instance...the dream dictionaries state that
dreaming of a fish can represent everything from someone is pregnant to
meaning the dreamer is in for a round of bad luck.
Let’s experiment…
When you say FISH to me, the LAST thing that comes to my
mind is pregnancy or bad luck. “I think” of this little fish house
where my husband and myself would have dinner in the beginning of our
relationship.
What comes to your mind when I say FISH?
This test is going to be different for each & every person.
Remember the Rorschach Test? It’s the test where you view an ink blot
and tell what you see within the blot.
What is within that ink blot – is going to be different for most every
person viewing it.
I believe this is true for dreams.
Thru the years (15 of them now) each dream interpretation is as
different as the person I am working with.
Sometimes the dream is a visit for you to spend time with a soulmate.
Now I don’t believe we have only 1 soulmate. I believe any person/soul
that we have experienced a past life with … is a soulmate.
Your dream could be time spent with that perfect love of your
life…from 3 lifetimes ago. It could be 10 minutes with a child that
has been with you 10 lifetimes…but didn’t join you for your current
life experience.
I’ve had many interpretations where the client is spending time with a
deceased relative or friend.
Perhaps your dream is one like my longtime client who had to experience
life without her husband to acknowledge that she did still love him.
Possibly – your dream is prophetic … assisting you with information
that lies ahead in your life.
And where this doesn’t happen often … your dream could be visions to
simply allow your tired mind the opportunity to relax from a busy
day…kind of like a screen saver on your computer. Just something to
look at while you are away J
I believe the majority of dreams is a form of astral travel. Your out of
body experience.
One thing I know for sure – to me, I think dreams are nothing less
than astounding, no matter what the meaning. Its yet another part of
life…another part of the human mind that I find to be a miracle.
Why is it that people struggle with the thought that miracles happen?
How is it that folks don’t see childbirth, or how the moon is just far
enough away that it won’t freeze the entire earth…and the sun is
just far enough away that it won’t burn us to embers?
Heck – I think the way a bird can sail thru the sky is miraculous!
Miracles…I believe J
But then…that story is for another time J
Come back soon! And listen, let me know what YOU think about dreams!
