Visualizing Professionalism

*NOTE: On this site, quotation marks are used around the word 'Correctional', not because the officer in question is not a real C/O, but because 'corrections' is not the proper word when no correction or rehabilitation is happening. That is the result of mass incarceration due to the drug war, the quality of people the department has to hire to maintain staff for the influx, bad leadership in the state of Ohio, and most especially, those who deny reform is needed.

The issue in question here is: Although the DOC denies it, there are two kinds of people in their employment: There are real 'Correctional' Officers and then there are errant guards, the bad apples.

The question is, How Do You Tell The Difference?

Remember, MTWT gives the Gold Star Award throughout the site for employees who show professionalism above the norm to those who nominate them. Send nominations to Christy Tigner

Hundreds of Job Cuts at Prisons Expected

THE WATCHGUARD COALITION
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WatchGuardCoalition/

This is an Ohio based grassroots news organization whose goal is to shed light on the darkness caused by unprofessional prison guards and corrupt police officers all over the nation.  These people have power, yet we have allowed so many of them to crawl into the hole of denial, finding justification for their crimes. WatchGuard wants to weed them out and demand that their punishment fit their crimes, just as it applies to the rest of the citizens of our country.  They are criminals who are hurting the entire brotherhood of officers. We will work with honest professionals who are willing to put anyone found committing crimes under the color of law behind bars.  If you have media stories or other information that should be included on this site, please send to OHMTWT@myway.com
