*NOTE: On this site, quotation marks are used around the word 'Correctional', not because the officer in question is not a real C/O, but because 'corrections' is not the proper word when no correction or rehabilitation is happening. That is the result of mass incarceration due to the drug war, the quality of people the department has to hire to maintain staff for the influx, bad leadership in the state of Ohio, and most especially, those who deny reform is needed.
The issue in question here is: Although the DOC denies it, there are two kinds of people in their employment: There are real 'Correctional' Officers and then there are errant guards, the bad apples.The question is, How Do You Tell The Difference?
