9/3/2003  Well, it's been far too long, but I don't really have much new to report.    To the best of my knowledge, Graig still has yet to sign a contract for this coming season, but obviously there is still plenty of time.  You'll know when I know.  So, all I CAN tell ya, is there's a new calendar for the good ol' month of September.  YAY!

8/5/2003  Just a quick reminder, now that we ARE in August.  LOL  There is a spiffy little monthly calendar for your viewing pleasure.  Yeah, what fun.    You can find it under the "multimedia" section.

8/2/2003  Happy August!!  Yes, its August ALREADY!!  Hard to believe, eh?    I go back to school in just 18 short days...yay!!  Summer is really dragging.  OK, well, I added two spiffy new things to the Northeastern U. page, you'll wanna check them out.  Other than that, the AHL schedule came out the other day, Thursday I think, so you'll probably wanna check that out too.    That's all from me!

7/25/2003  Hey again!  Happy FRIDAY this time!!  I know, I'm just getting *so* much done, I find it necessary to update you every two seconds!!  Honestly, I'm just SO bored being that its summer, I have nothing else to do anyway!  I think its about time I pull out the old hockey games I've got on tape.  LOL  Maybe I should watch the last game of the 99 NHL Playoffs...ya know that game when Brett Hull **SCORED** and Dallas won the Cup?!?  Yeah..you all know it...those stupid Buffalo fans are STILL chanting *NO GOAL!*  LOL  So, yeah, it was an illegal goal...but tough luck.  Everyone catches a bad call here and there, it just so happened that your call also cost you the Stanley Cup.  LOL!  Sucks to be you!    Cry me a river.

Ok, sorry...I'm being mean now.  In all honesty, Dallas did you a favor!  It's bad for your heart to be freaking out shot after shot...so Brett just figured he'd score and get it over with for ya...you had to know Dallas would win eventually anyway!!  Joey Nieuwendyk was there!  DUH!    **OK**  To the REAL news.  I've made a few more little changes no one will notice...along with the Mishler, Ohio page (Where you'll meet Prince Alexander Anton Troschinsky VI).   That's all from me!

7/24/2003  Happy Thursday!!!  How has everyone's week been?  Hopefully good...if not, sorry.    Guess what I've been up to!  I know, you don't guess.  I was up in Toronto the last few days!  What fun.  It wasn't really a big huge vacation type thing, we just went to see the Hockey Hall of Fame, Gretzky's restaurant, and the Walmart with two different levels.  Hehe!  I LOVE IT THERE!!!  I'll start off with the Walmart...AWESOME, there is this spiffy escalator thingy that you take your carts on...its like those ones at the airport that are flat, only...it goes uphill.  LOL!  It was much fun.    The HHOF was equally awesome...got to see lots of cool beans things.  I'm still trying to convince them to put Graig's jersey in there...I'll keep ya posted.  But seriously, there were lots of cool beans things there...its hard to pick a favorite anything.  I got to see our spiffy Cleveland goalie Seamus Kotyk's name on the Memorial Cup..which was just totally awesome.  And I saw a few spiffy jerseys of guys who have played here...Jock Callander, Jonathan Cheechoo, Ryan Kraft, etc...all that good stuff.  It was pretty fun.  I will say though...I was a very unhappy camper to see that there was a Boston (blah) College jersey representing the Hockey East section of the HOF.  VERY uncool guys.  VERY VERY uncool.  I can see maybe if it had been some phenomenal player's jersey or something...but it wasn't.  Just some average Joe Shmoe.  Yuck.  I vote we all petition to have a NORTHEASTERN jersey in there!  So there!

Aside from that, I obviously saw the Stanley Cup (well, ONE of them...the other is out with the New Jersey Devils (YAY!) right now)...that was awesome.  After all that good stuff, we spent what seemed like *forever* in the little shop they have at the HHOF.  There is some VERY cool beans stuff there!!!  A very cool beans Canadian (duh) HHOF employee convinced me to take a survey.  LOL  That was fun...I walked away with a coupon for something at McDonalds.  Yuck...it was going so well until then!!     Afterwards, we took a tour of the Air Canada Centre...that was ok.  Got to see the Maple Leafs (BOO!!!!) dressing room.  Which is all good and well if you LIKE THE MAPLE LEAFS.  I swear, it's like walking into a vault or something...there are these massive steel doors that open...like an elevator, to let you into the locker room.  Crazy!

I think that's about it from me...I'll save the rest of my novel for my NEXT update!!  While I have ya though, I added a page about my trip to Mishler, Ohio.  It was much fun...be sure to check it out!!  Later!

7/20/2003  Okey dokey...what have I done lately?  Um.  Let's see...I messed around with a few different things...but probably nothin you'll notice.  I did add two new links to both my jersey page and my links page.  Gotta be sure to check them out!!  GREAT places for both Barons and San Jose game worn jerseys.  Other than that...not much going on.  OH!!  Hahaha...guess what *I* did today?  Come on, seriously...GUESS!  Oh, you're no fun.  Ok, I'll tell ya.  I went to Mishler, Ohio today.  Yessireebob!!    I went to Mishler.  And what fun it was too!  LOL!  Ok, it's really just this teeny little town south of Akron...but hey, it was an experience!  I DO have pictures of their ONE street sign. No, I was told repeatedly NOT to steal the sign ...so pictures will have to do.  I'll give ya the FULL scoop once I get them developed.  That's about all from me.

7/17/2003  Well, its that time again!  Let me update you on what I've been up to!  I decided to add a page devoted solely to Graig's game worn jerseys that I own.  They take up too much space otherwise...so you can get to that through the *Cool Stuff* page.  Um...other than that...its been the same old stuff.  I'm back to *actively* searching for NU stuff...I swear, its like pulling teeth getting those people to help ya out!  Grr!!

7/12/2003  Hey again!! Just a few little updates to get out of the way.  I think I fixed the links that didn't love me...we're back on speaking terms now...meaning, they WORK!!  YAY!!  I added a new section called *Multimedia*.  Interesting.  You'll have to be sure to check it out, and if you have any ideas, please don't hesitate to say something...I'm doing this as I go, help would be awesome!!    Um, I added a new jersey on the NU page, it can also be seen in the "more cool stuff" page.  I also added a scan from a Northeastern media guide to the NU page if anyone is interested.  Makes for good reading.

7/4/2003  Happy 4th of July!!!

7/1/2003  Happy Canada Day!!! It's been a while!  Let's see if I can summarize the past few months real quick here.  Um..playoffs!!  The Houston Aeros beat Hamilton to win the Calder Cup.    Sorry, I can't bring myself to cheer for Houston.  On to NHL Playoffs!  The New Jersey Devils beat Anaheim 3-0 back on June 9th to win *another* Stanley Cup!!

I was totally bummed, Joey Nieuwendyk(!) missed the last few games with a torn oblique muscle (aww!)...but it was slightly comforting to know that our little hometown boy Mike Rupp would take his place.  Mike had the game-winning goal in game 7, along with two assists!  It doesn't get much better than that!!  He'll be bringing the cup home sometime later this summer...rookies always seem to get it last!

Anyhoo, other than that...today being July 1st, today is one of the worst days of the hockey year.  This is the dreadful day that half of the league becomes a free agent.  Without going into a whole bunch of detail on free agents and all that good stuff...SJ decided not to resign Graig for next season.    Of course, anything can happen...but ya know how SJ can be.  (If you are one of the few people who HASN'T heard about my feelings for SJ, email me...it could take a while!)  In any case...I'll do my best to keep ya updated on the whereabouts of Misch.  You'll know when I know!

I think that's about it for now.  Oh, but as a little side note, you may have noticed an increase in little dancing, waving, angry smiley faces.  I am just ecstatic that I've figured out how to work them!!  Hopefully they don't get overly annoying, but I think they get my  point across pretty well!

4/6/2003  How sad.  Today was our last game, we lost to Cincinnati 4-2.  Our boys played hard, it was just another one of those games.  All we can do is look forward to next season!  Graig had a goal today...#12 on the season.    I was in Cincinnati for the game last night where he had #11...Go Misch!!  I was so proud of him!!  I'm pretty sure Graig  just set a new personal record for goals in a season...he gets better and better each year!  I can't wait until September!  From what I understand, Graig doesn't have a third year on his contract...but SJ has the option for next season.  They'd best resign him!!  They'll have one very unhappy camper if I have to drive a bazillion miles to watch Graig play.  We'll see what happens this summer, obviously I'll let you know if anything comes up.  Until next time, everyone have an awesome summer...enjoy the NHL playoffs (Go Sens!!), and I'll be sure to see you next season!!  GO MISCH!!!

3/29/2003  YAY!!!  Awesome.  Misch had goal #10 today!!!  Today is no boring, ordinary, plain, ol' day either...it's my Birthday!!!!    Hehehe!  I have to be excited, yesterday (3/28), Graig was hit in the face with a puck...not cool.  He didn't finish out the game, and you can imagine my anxiety.    One of the team doctors said he was up and walking...which is good....but come on!!  I need more info than that!!  Anyhoo, as you can tell, he was ready to go by this morning...and obviously feeling well enough to score a goal!  We ended up losing the game 6-3, but what else is new.  At least Misch showed up today...more than I can say for a few others.

3/17/2003  Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!    I just spent the past 4 days in Boston.  Not too bad, but I wouldn't recommend the place!  After watching the Norfolk Admirals lose Friday to Worcester, what better to do than see two Barons games?  Hey, it couldn't get much worse right?  Wrong.  We lost both games.  No comment on the Lowell game, don't even get me started.  BUT, in honor of Graig's 24 1/2 birthday, I found it necessary to make cookies.    And guess who had a goal Sunday?!?!?  Yepperz, Misch!!  YAY!!!  Go Graig!  Congrats on #9 this season!

We really should have had the game Sunday, at some point during the game, we HAD a goal...but apparently the refs were being paid pretty well (just my opinion!), they conveniently let the goal light go on and on and on...never even stopping the play.  Not cool guys.  The LEAST you could have done was talk it over...what?  Do you think the goal judge just felt like pressing the button?  I doubt that...he was having too much fun allowing Ice Cats goals!  Regardless, we lost the game by one goal, 4-3.

3/7/2003  Yep.  Graig was definitely in a fight tonight.  Pretty awesome.  Not that I could see of course, I was so shocked I really have no idea what I was doing...definitely not taking any pictures.    Only one of the best events ever, and I'm too shocked to press a button!  What I did manage to take ended up pretty blurry...I was shaking so much!!  Leave it to me.  Geez.

3/1/2003  Graig had a goal and an assist tonight against Lowell...AND he was named first star of the game!!!  YEA!!!!  GO Misch!

2/26/2003  Graig almost beat some dude up!  LOL  Actually, some punk who plays for Hamilton was just being an idiot...but Graig put him back in line, so all is well.
