2/11/2006 Well, Graig is
officially a Royal yet again...for this weekend's games anyway.
Reading plays Toledo this weekend, should be a few tough games. I'll
try to post updates after the games...if nothing else Graig's stats will
be updated. I also have my Reading Posse taking pictures for me, so
hopefully I'll have some to share after the weekend.
**UPDATE** Reading lost tonight
in a shootout, 4-3. Graig scored the tying goal in the 3rd and added
another in the shootout, but it wasn't enough to pull out a win.
In any case,
hopefully things will go better tomorrow. GO MISCH!!! 1/17/2006 The pictures
from this past weekend are all up on the site now. They can be
reached through the Royals
Picture Page. There are quite a few there....but I think
its better to take too many pictures and make sure something turns out,
than not take enough and regret it later. Just my thoughts.
1/16/2006 Just a minor
update...there is an awesome article on the Reading Eagle website re:
Graig's return. I'd definitely recommend you check it out!!
**edit** After 24 hours, the direct link to articles on the Eagle
site doesn't work...but have no fear, the story is still in the
News section.
Here ya go.
1/15/2006 Finally back
home. It was a long trip, but worth every minute of it. Kinda
blah game on Sunday, we lost. Graig still looked good, but Coach is
playing the hell out of him. Heh...Graig, if you say you're sore
today, just wait til tomorrow.
Anyhoo, I wanted to thank all of the
people that still check the site on occasion...mad props go out to Carolin
and all the peeps at CSFB. HOLLA!
You guys are
the reason I keep this thing going. Oh, well and of course Graig
too...he helps keep me motivated I spose.
Oh yeah, and I do in fact have those pics up from last game, but turns out
they aren't where I thought they were. Here's the direct link for
Tuesday's
pics....all of them. The ones of Graig will eventually be in his
own little folder, but for now, deal with the rest of the team too.
Excuse the poor quality, I wasn't as concerned with composition of the pic
as I was with making sure I got SOMETHING of everyone. There are
many Misches to be found....enjoy.
1/14/2006
Fun stuff, I'm back in Reading today, tired as can be, but still pluggin
along. Andie and I are troopers...haha. Anyway, Graig played his second
game tonight for the Royals, scoring the first goal. He had a few other
really nice chances that just didnt happen...but way to scare the hell out
of me Graig. I'd forgotten what it was like to REALLY cheer for someone to
do well...when given that many close calls, its just not good for my blood
pressure. Ha. Anyhoo, we won 4-2...almost took OT to decide that one, but
we took the lead with a few minutes left, and added the empty net goal at
the end of the night. Kudos to all of the 3 stars...I say Graig should
have gotten 3rd and a half star. Just cuz. I didnt take a WHOLE lot of
pics tonight, safe to say Graig looks about the same today as he did
Tuesday...that, and there were a bunch of idiots sitting around us that
made it very difficult to get pics. Whatever I ended up with will be
online eventually...if I ever get home. I'll post the link to the last
game's pics eventually too...though if you go to the Royals Pics page, you
should be able to navigate from there. This wonderful laptop only allows
me my old school HTML abilities, so be patient with my updates. I'll post
more once I'm home. Gooooooooo Misch!!!!
1/11/2006 As mentioned on
the front page, Graig made his return to Reading last night as the Royals
fell to Wheeling 5-1. Graig managed an assist on the lone goal of
the game, though if you ask ECHL.com, they claim he scored it himself.
I was fortunate enough to make it to the game and take hundreds of pics,
most of which will be online in the near future...I hope. Graig, you
looked great out there, I don't care what you say.
9/16/2005 Even though
NOW its a day late...
Happy Birthday
Graig!!!!!!!!!!!
In non-birthday related news, thanks to a wonderful Royals
staff person, I added another Misch jersey to the collection. This
time, the gray 3rd jersey worn last year.
Personally, I think it was worn for like 2 games, but whatever. The
quest to have one of each of Graig's home/road/3rd jerseys is nearly
complete.
That said, I do still have others I'm on the lookout for. A complete
list of missing jerseys can be found by clicking
HERE.
8/22/2005 As you may
have read on the front page of the site, Graig has decided to accept a
position with a leading financial services company in New York City.
Best of luck to him in the future. In regards to this website, it
will be remain as is for at least the duration of the 2005-06 season.
I'd like to thank everyone who has helped build this site and make it what
it is today. Without the help of people across the country none of
this would have been possible.
7/7/2005 Obviously I've
had nothing to say over the past month and a half, sorry. There just
isnt much to report. The 2005-06 ECHL schedules are out though, so
be sure to check those out on
echl.com.
5/17/2005 Hopefully
everyone is enjoying their summer. Just a few minor updates around
here. I've got some new jerseys
coming in soon, so be sure to check those out. Also, there are some
new icons on the Multimedia page. I've
added a LOT to the News page...finally filled in some missing Barons news,
etc. That's about it from me. Ohh, one more thing. I've
received more than one email in the past from people believing I'm Graig.
Well, no, I'm not...sorry. In the future, if you'd like to email
Graig, you can do so by clicking
HERE. I can in no way guarantee that he will read or respond to
the emails, but I don't want to be getting in the middle of personal
correspondence.
5/3/2005 I've added a
lot to the news section and also fixed some broken links. Be sure to
check those new articles out. My personal faves are the diary
entries written by Reagan Rome. Funny stuff. Also be sure to
check out the new pics from Texas 1/1-1/2, and also the spiffy $15 bill my
long distance hockey buddy Summer sent to me. You can find that on
the Cool Stuff
page. Another random cool fact, for the moment anyway, Graig is tied
with a Gwinnett guy for the most minor penalties throughout playoffs.
Woohoo. I guess. 5/1/2005 Well,
I'm
finally home. Yay. Just a couple things, pics are up from the
game Friday...some of them anyway. I'll get the rest developed
eventually. Other than that, just a big thanks to the Royals players
for a great season, it might not have ended the way everyone would have
liked, but we did a lot this year, and there's nothing to be ashamed of.
Enjoy the summer, there's always next year.
4/29/2005 Tonight was game 4 between the Royals and Trenton. Unfortunately, we lost 4-3. Trenton will go on to lose to Alaska (lol hopefully!) next round. I think those games start in a week or so, I dunno. In any case, Graig played well, from what I could tell anyway. He did end up the box a bit, such the goon. My fave hit was one on *I think* Tim Judy...should have really been a boarding call, lol, but instead, he and Judy both got roughing minors. Judy is another guy out of Northeastern, go figure. I think he came in the year after Graig left. Oh well, in any case, it
wasn't a horrible game, disappointing of course, but there's always next year. In
any case, GO ACES!! I'll have my pictures up when I get home, some with the digital, there are other film ones. I'm actually still in PA as I type...I've discovered a decent enough way to update the site while on the road. Yay!! Be sure to watch out for all the newest updates.
4/24/2005
Well, Reading lost 2-1 last night, game 3 is Wednesday in Trenton, and
I'll be in Trenton for game 4 on Friday. I'll update things as soon
as I get home, unless I figure out a way to do it from the hotel.
Hmmmmm. Also, if there ends up being a game 5, I suppose I might
just stay in Reading for that one...we'll see how things go. Only
new one thing new on the site, thanks to Cassandra for passing along a few
pics of Graig at a recent Redners Market appearance. Very cool.
Be sure to check those out on the
off-ice
pics page.
4/22/2005
First game against Trenton was tonight in Reading. The Royals jumped
out to an early lead and held on through the game. Final score, 4-2
Royals. Next game is tomorrow, still in Reading. Can't wait.
In website news, more pictures are up from the final Toledo game this past
Tuesday...be sure to check those out. Next roadtrip possibility for
me is Game 4 at Trenton. We'll see if we even NEED to play a game
4...but if so, I'll be there. Yay. Go Royals!!!
4/20/2005
Yup, two updates in the same day...its later now though, a little
afternoon. I'm trying something new, a weekly newsletter/mailing
list. This might be especially helpful for those who want to be
updated on stuff but cant check the website every day on the off chance
something newsworthy has happened. If you're interested, go ahead
and sign up. Other than that, I have the schedule for the first 4
Trenton games on the main page...be sure to check that out. I'm not
sure when Game 5 is going to be yet, but as soon as I know, it'll be up
there.
4/20/2005
Its barely the 20th..but its in the AM, so it counts I spose.
Anyway, I'm off to bed...I added all my pics from tonight's (last night's?)
game...game 4 in Toledo. We won 5-2, awesome game...and finally took
the series. That saves us a game tomorrow. Looks like the next
series starts Friday...we'll be playing Trenton. I'll post the
schedule as soon as I have it. In the meantime, look through some of
the pics...I enjoyed them.
4/19/2005
Well, playoffs have been goin on for the past week, hopefully you're
keeping tabs on all that fun stuff. I'm off to Toledo in a few hours
for game 4....I'd love to see our boys pull out a win and avoid game 5
tomorrow. In other news, thanks to Megan for passing along a few
Misch pics! You can see them on the Royals picture page, from the
game 4/5/05 vs Peoria. Aww.
4/11/2005
I've noticed that a few of the links within the site may not work...the
ones I ran across were on the Barons picture pages. If you've had
any issues with others, please let me know about it so they can be fixed
ASAP...its just not very possible for me to sit here and click on every
link everywhere to see if it works. Your help would be much
appreciated.

4/10/2005
Finally home...and I'm super tired. I'm going to bed, pics will be
up tomorrow. In a nutshell, we lost, 2-0...but it didn't matter much.
All of the boys played ok, but they weren't exactly going to put all of
their effort into a nothing-game. Why risk getting hurt or being
exhausted come Thursday? We've played 7 in 9, I think they can
afford a break now. Anyway...playoffs do start this coming Thursday,
game 2 is Saturday. Reading has home ice first...then Toledo gets
game 3 on Sunday and Tuesday if needed. Check the main page
for the full schedule.
4/9/2005
Well, its off to Wheeling in a few minutes...hopefully to see another win.
I'll be home late, but I'll post some updates after I get back. In
other news, I'd like a make a shout out to Matt Huber in Wyomissing,
PA...who apparently hates this website. Thanks so much for your
feedback Matt! I'm sorry you feel that way, but its just too bad for
you, you're out numbered. Don't expect my website to go anywhere any
time soon. And one more note dear, you might want to avoid posting
your phone number randomly on the internet...first off, no, there is no
chance in hell I'd want to call you. Secondly, this isn't a pathetic
dating service where you can use my guestbook to try to find someone that
MIGHT want to call you, and lastly, when you leave your phone number out
there for people, it makes it so much easier for them to do one of those
spiffy reverse phone number lookups, and find your address. Now,
despite our disagreements, I'd hate to see anything happen to you, there
are tons of psycho people out there. Just voicing my concern.
Ha.
In any case, accidental or not, thanks for boosting the traffic on my
site.

4/8/2005
Yay! The Royals won last night, and
have finally clinched their division title.
Graig
had the game-winning goal...his 12th of the year. Awesome for him.
Mad props also go out to Misch for acknowledging the fans after the game.
Some fans were annoyed that the team didn't thank them for their support
after the game (personally I say get over it, do you support the team with
HOPES of being recognized?)...but anyway, Graig was the oddball in the
crowd, being named 1st star and making sure to thank the fans...so his
bandwagon has more than doubled in size. Kudos to Misch on that one.
Be sure to check out the
Reading Eagle article from today as well, I liked it.
I actually
decided to watch the game online last night...I'd highly recommend it if
you ever have a chance to try it out. Very cool.
The Royals play AC tonight and
Wheeling tomorrow to finish up their season...then our playoff schedule
should be out by Monday morning. It's looking like Toledo...cross
your fingers anyway...they need one point to clinch their playoff spot.
For the final two games of the season ONLY, I will say...Go Storm.
4/5/2005 I know its been a while since we had our last updates
here...sorry bout that. I've been insanely busy between going on the
road to see Graig...twice...games here, booster club stuff here, and on
top of all that, school. Ugh! Anyway, as is probably obvious,
I'm trying out a new look to the site. That didn't help things
either, I've been trying to update everything on here, and I just really
realized just HOW MUCH I really have. Dang. Soo, yeah, take a
look around, again, and let me know what you think. I've added a lot
of pictures from the past few times I've seen Graig...be sure to check
those out.
Another noteworthy
point, Graig got a moon man last week at the Royals Fan Choice Awards!
He was named Offensive Player of the Year. Congrats to him!!
The Royals also just
clinched a playoff spot, so now its a matter of positioning. I'm
hoping they play Toledo in the first round...but we'll see. 4 more
regular season games to go, Graig has set a new personal scoring record,
and he's still doing great. I think I'll be going to Wheeling on
Saturday, so I'll give you more updates then.
3/27/2005
HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!
Hopefully everyone has a really great Easter, complete with Easter egg
hunts and lots of food!

3/19/2005 Lots
of updates to tell you about! First off, happy belated St. Patty's
Day. I was in Reading watching Misch score a spiffy goal.
Hopefully everyone had fun and has recovered. The Royals wore
special jerseys, combining their annual Jazz Fest stuff with St. Patty's
Day....the jerseys were pretty darn cool if you ask me. As usual,
they auctioned them off after the game 3/17 for an absurd amount of money,
with Graig's going for $1100. It seems to have gone to a good home
though...so yay!
In website news, I've
added a LOT of
pictures
from the game this past week, there are two pages, the first page has the
digital pics I took, the second has the ones on film. Overall, not
bad...the film ones look better on the real prints than the scans
indicate, so I was a very happy camper. It was a very productive
picture-taking game. Other updates are on the
Cool Stuff page,
I'd suggest checking those out too.
3/15/2005
Today is Graig's half birthday! Yay!!!
The Royals
won tonight, 3-1...so that's a decent way to spend your half birthday.
Make sure to watch the ECHL transactions in the next week...trade deadline
is the 22nd and teams are dumping players left and right. Of course
I'll be super unhappy if Graig is traded, but ehh, coach also may or may
not have a bug stuck up his rear end....so...ehh. We'll see what
happens. In any case, GO MISCH!! I'll be in Reading this
coming Thursday, St. Patty's Day, so hopefully we can see another win
then!
3/12/2005
Nothing huge to report, but I've added some pictures from my trips to
Toledo and Johnstown (most of those are still to come)...and you can also
see Graig's spiffy Royals team set card from this year on the Cool Stuff
page. I'm interested in finding out what the *rest* of the cards
look like...seems Misch might be the only one with a picture of his butt
on there.
What
are they trying to say?
2/22/2005
Sooo, Misch is in the middle of quite a little scoring streak
lately...and has 12 points in his last 6 games. YAY!! In other
news, he was not even nominated for ECHL Player of the Week...and I'm a
very unhappy camper. Don't get me started on all the reasons it can
be, and now appears to be, a conspiracy.
Oh well, they dont have to give Misch a special award to prove he kicks
ass...its just obvious. LOL In addition to Misch's scoring
streak, the Royals have also moved into first place..woohoo! Cody
Rudkowsky is back from Providence and I'm sure will be a huge help, as
always. In the meantime, the time off between now and Friday's game
in Peoria should give Rudy time to *coheed* with a lot of his new
teammates (long story).
Welcome back
Rudy, we've missed ya!
2/14/2005
Well, I haven't had much to say lately. Graig has been hurt off and
on all season, and just spent a fair amount of time on the IR...but now
I'm super happy to say he's back to playing and seems to be doing well.
In his second game back, he had the game-winning goal and 3 assists to
lead the Royals to a 6-2 win over Toledo. NOT BAD AT ALL! Way
to go Misch, keep it up!

1/1/2005
