

Mischler named Hockey East Player of the Week

BOSTON, MA - Senior Graig Mischler, a senior on the men's hockey team, has
been named Hockey East Player of the Week. The announcement came form the
conference on Monday.
In three games last week, Mischler had a pair of goals and seven assists
in helping Northeastern to two victories. Against Harvard on Monday Feb. 12
in the Beanpot, Mischler led an NU come from behind victory with three
assists and the game-winning goal late in the third period. On Friday Feb.
16 at Merrimack, Mischler had a power-play goal in the first period, the
fourth straight game he scored a goal. The next night, Mischler assisted on
four of NU's five goals in a 5-2 win at home over Merrimack. Along the way,
Mischler collected his 100th career point, the 39th player in Northeastern
history to reach the milestone.
Mischler leads Northeastern in points and assists with an 8-27-35 line.
He is first in Hockey East in assists and seventh in points. In 134 career
games, Mischler has 32 goals and 69 assists for 101 points. Mischler has a
point in six straight games and in eight of the last nine. Over the last
nine games, he has five goals and 14 assists for 19 points.
Mischler is a native of Holbrook, N.Y. He played his pre-Northeastern
hockey at Canterbury Prep. A Business major, Mischler is a member of the
Class of 2002. He was selected in the eighth round of the 1998 NHL Entry
Draft by the Vancouver Canucks.
