SYRACUSE, New York (Ticker) -- Graig Mischler recorded a hat trick to lift the Cleveland Barons to a 8-2 victory over the Syracuse Crunch. Mischler opened the scoring 3:23 into the first period, tallied midway through the second and netted a power-play goal with 66 seconds remaining in the contest. Niko Dimitrakos contributed two goals and four points and Jeff Nelson assisted on three goals for Cleveland. Vesa Toskala made 21 saves in the win for the Barons, who have won four of their last six games. Blake Bellefeuille and Matt Dzieduszycki each scored for Syracuse, which lost for just the third time over its last 11 games (7-3-1). Karl Goehring allowed four goals on 11 shots to suffer the loss for the Crunch.
