The portrait below was inspired from a photo I'd seen. She isn't painted exactly as the photo but rather as I saw her. It seemed to me that she looked very serene and at peace with herself and that was what I tried to convey.
This little boy is one of my portraits that I dearly love. I also created a companion piece for him.
And here is the companion for the little boy. Her name is Emily and she's a neighbor of mine. Such a doll baby! I enjoyed painting the soft tones of both of these.
It's been a long time since I've added anything new but I've finally gotten out of my slump. This is the first portrait in two years. It is of my grandson Sam. He was sadly disapointed because he couldn't go with his big brother.
