Right click this color palette and "save as" a picture. Put it in a file you can easily find and then open in Paint Shop Pro.
1.Open new image size 500x 500
2. Add new raster layer, and FLOOD FILL it with black.
3. Add another raster layer.
4. Set your paint brush foreground color to no.1 and background to no.2
5.Use the paint brush set to a small size, to draw this shape.
6. Now use the magic wand to select, and then invert the selection.
7. Add another raster layer.
8. Set your paint brush to
9. Set the brush variance to
9. Now paint in the top of the flower.
10. Paint in some colors 3 and 4
11. Set the smudge brush to
Note: this is set pretty strong, so you will have to smudge gently and slowly with short strokes!
12. Now blend the colors together, but do not over work.
13.Change the foreground and background color to no.5 and no.6
14. Paint on some color in the same areas as below.
15. Now use the smudge brush and blend.
16. Add new raster layer.
17. Set foreground color to no.3 and background to no.6
19. Change colors to nos. 2 and 6
20.Paint in some color similar to what you see below.
21. Use the air brush toolset to size one or two, and set the foreground color to white. Paint along the edge of the flower similar to what you see in the image below.
22. Now use the smudge tool and blend the colors.. Try not to blend the white much, just soften it a litte bit.
23. Change foregound color to no.9. and use the air brush with size set to 20, to apply color similar to what you see below.
24.Set foreground color to no.8 and background color to no 10
25. Add some highlight color in the area circled below.
26. Add a new raster layer. and deselect.
27. Change colors to no.11 and no.12.
28. Use your air brush to paint on the base of the flower then blend with the smudge tool. Adjust the size of the brush to an appropriate size. Aternate your colors!
29. Hide the black background layer,and then merge visible.
30. You take it from here! Add a stem, copy and paste the lilly, make a different background.... or better yet paint another one!
