TOP PROSPECTS sets feature 100 of the best young players from each season. Top Prospects are for fans that want the latest talented young players and their accomplishments on discs. A player is considered a Rookie unless he has exceeded 130 at bats or 50 innings pitched in the Majors in a single season. Many of the players in this set are Rookies while some have exceeded these qualification numbers during their first or second season. Many of these young players have already established themselves as stars. Top Prospects sets are for fans that follow and evaluate young talent throughout the season. Top Prospects sets have equal defensive distribution so 4 teams can draft 25 players.
TOP RATED sets feature all of the year's best players ranked by position based on their production in various offensive categories. These performance ratings make it possible to evaluate player production on a play by play basis determined by a mathematical point system. The power ratings created from these statistics are moving progressive averages kept in real time and change with each at bat or on the field achievement. Ranking consistently high in these ratings usually indicates a highly productive career. The Top Rated players featured in this disc set turned out to be a great combination of proven veterans that continue to hit and young players that have already played like stars. Draft today's top rated players at each position and organize your All Star Baseball League into 8 or 16 teams with or without a reserve.
SUPERS sets feature 100 of the greatest players by position from each of the past 12 decades. Collectively the 12 Supers sets include 1,200 completely different players. The players that were selected for the Supers sets are the superstars of each decade and were chosen based on production, consistency, longevity and popularity. We are dedicated to translating each individual player's statistics into precise career player discs for the accuracy and validity of your games. We could not make playable discs for pitchers that have few or no career at bats therefore these pitchers can not appear in the Supers sets. We could not sacrifice board game accuracy for player participation by modifying or fabricating any player's statistics to create discs. Choose a decade and 1 to 4 players can draft discs each player drafting their own team. The player draft is the most exciting and important part of the season when you experience intense anticipation hoping your next selection is still available when it's your draft pick. The Supers sets are designed to have equal defensive position distribution so 4 teams can draft 25 players. For more comprehensive decade sets with 200 players that form 8 teams see the Stars sets below. The Stars include the Supers and 100 additional superstars and stars of the decade. If you play All Star Baseball using our discs your games will be just as you know or remember them to be.
ALL 12 SUPERS SETS - 1,200 different players - (1,200) $399.99
ALL 12 SUPERS SETS WITHOUT PITCHERS - 768 different players - (768) $249.99
PURE HITTERS sets do not contain any pitchers they feature 16 hitters at each position. Pure Hitters are made for people in favor of the AL's DH rule. For more than a generation the two leagues have remained divided on the designated hitter even though this major difference in rules causes provisions and modifications to be made each time teams from the two leagues meet. Should the leagues unify and choose or should each league have their choice? Should a professional hitter be at the plate instead of a pitcher? Should the rules remain that every player that bats must take the field? Was 1973 the time to replace the pitcher offensively and place a hitter in the batter's box? The National League and American League have two different points of view on the designated hitter and it's partially reflected in the way their teams have played Baseball over the years.
The traditional National League strategy has depended mainly on pitching. The NL often produces low scoring pitching duels while the offense works counts for base runners and will sacrifice outs to move runners. The American League tradition has depended on hitting and relies on extra base hits in an attempt to rally and knock the starting pitcher out. When managing in the American League the pitching strategy is separated from the hitting strategy but the managing remains similar during the decision making and the timing of crucial pitching changes. If you like American League Baseball then you will like the decade Pure Hitters sets. The Pure Hitters sets will compile 8 or 16 teams with or without a reserve.
The Pure Hitters sets include HITTERS ONLY the greatest of each decade and the greatest of all time.
ALL 12 DECADE PURE HITTERS SETS - 1,536 different players - (1,536) $499.99
ALL 3 ALL TIME PURE HITTERS SETS - 384 different players - (384) $129.99
STARS sets feature 200 of the greatest players by position from each of the past 12 decades.
*The Stars sets are the Supers sets expanded to include 100 additional superstars and stars of the decade. When combined the 12 Stars sets feature 2,400 completely different players. Our wide variety of players provides the flexibility and balance needed to bring out the best in Cadaco All Star Baseball. American League pitchers since 1973 that have had few or no career at bats do not have the statistics necessary to make discs therefore these pitchers can not appear in the Stars sets. We did not alter any player's statistics to enhance or diminish performance because this would defeat the thousands of hours of concentration and dedication that it took to research, draft and create these discs. We found it difficult to choose the best 100 players for the Supers sets since so many great players were still available that belong in these otherwise incomplete player sets. After drafting players for the Supers sets the talent and popularity of the remaining players influenced the creation of the more comprehensive Stars sets. Stars sets are designed to have equal defensive position distribution so 8 teams can draft 25 players. The Stars sets are designed to organize and manage your All Star Baseball games into a league of two 4 team divisions where the pennant winners meet in the World Series. If you play the game using our player discs your All Star Baseball games will be just as you know or remember them to be.
ALL 12 STARS SETS - 2,400 different players - (2,400) $799.99
ALL 12 STARS SETS WITHOUT PITCHERS - 1,536 different players - (1,536) $499.99
AWARDS that have been achieved, conceived and disbelieved. Five years after retirement any player with 10 years of major league experience is eligible to be elected into Baseball's Hall of Fame. Players that obtain 75% of the ballots are elected while players with fewer than 5% of the ballots are dropped from future elections. The Future Hall of Fame set is both retired and current players that have the best statistical chance at being elected to the Hall of Fame. The Ten Years On The Ballot set is full of border line inductees that have had continuous voting support from some of the sports writers. Unfortunately 75% of sports writers are not convinced that these players have met Hall of Fame standards. Considering historically not many players have been inducted into the Hall of Fame 10 years of voting support is an important accomplishment and this unique set is dedicated to these great players. Ten Years On The Ballot is a great addition to the Hall of Fame set. The Rookie of the Year list just continues to indicate a great set of players through the years. Get the Hall of Fame on All Star Baseball discs.

ALL TIME LEADERS
are created to classify players by the exceptional offensive numbers they've produced throughout their careers. All Time Leaders will not form four equal defensive position teams because these sets originate strictly from MLB leader lists therefore the players are not chosen by position. The idea of the All Time Leaders sets is to take the most productive players from 6 important offensive statistical categories and add them to your player discs according to the strategy you need or have chosen. If you need more power, more hitting or more base runners these are the proven players that will give you the flexibility you need to see instant offensive changes in your batting orders and game results. All Time Leaders are used to enhance the offensive style that you want by adding the best statistically categorized players to your All Star Baseball teams.

PITCHER vs. HITTERS is a new and precise way to play All Star Baseball that will produce realistic pitching performances. Pitcher vs. Hitters sets are individual match ups that give the best possible chance of probable occurrences between two players. This statistical breakdown is the ultimate in accuracy compiling only the career statistics that occurred specifically between the pitcher and the hitter. *Select at least 2 pitchers that pitched in different leagues or different time periods and choose 50 or 100 hitters per pitcher. Draft teams accordingly and each pitcher will face the hitters in their set exclusively. The pitcher is the rival of his set and he will get the win if any of the teams in his set score the fewest runs.
We will include a disc of the pitcher in each set so he can pitch and bat for the opposing team.

DEAD BALL ERA was from the late 1800's to the early 1900's the same time these leagues attempted to become the third major league in Baseball. The dead ball era was from the beginning of Baseball in 1871 until around 1918. The term dead ball came from the poor design and overuse of the baseball together with the lack of home run power from games played in large ball parks. This dramatic decline in runs scored caused the demand for a change and a new cork centered baseball was created. These defunct leagues went through hard times and had to struggle to survive though the players were as talented as any leagues in existence.
