For you beginning beekeepers out there reading this site this is what I would suggest for you to think about next. Here are some items that I feel every beekeeper should have when starting into this activity. You should at least have 1-2 hive tools,I think that every beginner beekeeper out there should at least where a bee suit for your first year,you also should have a pair of gloves so you dont get stung in the hand,Another thing that I think that every beekeeper should have is a smoker some beekeeper say that there is no sense in having one but i think that it is good to have one because it worns the bees that you are coming in and it also calms them down. Now for completing your sucess in being a beginner beekeeper you need a 9-1/2" Deep box and at least 1-2,6-5/8" Medium Super for each hive you have. Also you need frames with foundation to put in the hive. Then the next thing you need is a Telescoping cover,Inner cover and also a bottom board. Now one thing that you need if you want to stop mites from getting in to your hive is(BEE CALMER)that is purchased from a beekeeper named (Robert Parsons)or also as (Parsons Gold Apiaries) BY:Justin Baker(J.B.BEES)BUUUUUUZZZZZZZ!!
